I feel most of the hate towards "gimmicky" dueling tournaments has more to do with their record rather than the actual gimmick. Considering 80% of all of these gimmicky tournaments failed (see: most of everything run by King John & Nevino) the experiences aren't particularly positive. On the contrary, most Greatsword tournaments tend to succeed.

In fact, if I recall correctly, all of them have.

Regardless, I'm confident that Juvenile will effectively lead this tournament to success and wish him luck. I won't be joining because I despise dueling with a passion, but will offer Unicorn's Office for any European matches that want a NY server. Just toss me a PM or message me on Steam.

You may use dolens_dukking_dojo for duels if needed. If its not up, just let me or azrooh know. Its a really strong east coast server. SHould be duel by defult.
 
X pls, there is a tryhard tournament, run by nvno, and before that duke ran another one. Seems to be plenty of competitive dueling to me... :/
