Admin List
Player Rules
- Players may only play for one team. Players may not play for more than 1 team in any given fixture set, even if it's during a transfer period.
- Players may not play for more than 1 team in any given fixture set, even if it is during a transfer period. Should a team have a default win then it will be treated as if all the players on their roster had played, meaning they are unable to play in matches for other teams in the same fixture set.
- Players who are not currently in a roster may join any team at any time. Should a player wish to transfer from one roster to another have to do so during atransfer period. These periods will occur every 2 weeks. Players who are removed from a team's roster may not join another team until the transfer period reopens.
- Players must be respectful and polite to their opponents. If teams repeatedly show a poor attitude and display rudeness they will be punished by the tournament admins.
Match Rules
- Combat Speed: Medium, Friendly Fire %100, Round Time: 240 seconds, Game Type: Battle, Re-spawn time: 8 sec, Gold: All set to %100, Camera: team member’s view, forced MoF spawn on 2 minutes.
- Every match will be 16 rounds long and will have 2 maps. For each map 8 rounds will be played. After 4 rounds, spawns and factions will be switched.
- Drawn rounds count. Do not replay these rounds.
- Due to scheduling constraints and the paucity of servers, you have 15 minutes to gather your players on a server and begin the match. Teams are not obliged to wait more than 5 minutes between maps and 3 minutes between sets. If a team fails to turn up to the server 15 minutes after the scheduled match team then the team present may leave the server a be awarded a default win.
- If a team wishes to claim a default win then they must do so as soon as possible. It is not acceptable to wait several hours or days. If your opponent fails to turn up after 15 minutes then you should immediately contact an admin via steam or Taleworld private message to let them know. Failure to do so jeopardises a teams right to a default win.
- Should admins receive repeated complains about a team wasting time, the team will be investigated and could face punishment. This includes waiting for lengthy times between sets and map swaps, being extremely difficult to schedule with and other problems.
- Team size is a minimum of 8 vs 8 but, if both teams agree, the player limit can be increased. Matches should not be played lower than 8 vs 8. A team that can only field 7 players must play the match, the other team is expected to continue with 8 players. Any team that fields 6 or less players will be penalised; If you go a full set of rounds (4 Rounds) without the required number, you will be deducted 1 point. If a team goes 2 full sets (8 Rounds) with 6 or less players then the team must forfeit the match. However this punishment will only take place given clear evidence, i.e: Screenshots (note the plural), recording.
- Substitutions are only allowed between each 4 rounds, i.e: Half way through the match. If a player crashes on game, substitutions can be done after the round has ended.
- If you have problems in match just take (a) screenshot(s) and send it to an event admin.

Any player or team that is found to have modified textures in order to gain an advantage will immediately face severe punishment, likely a ban from the tournament, though the severity is up to the admins' discretion.
- Players that attempt to utilise any kind of autoblock, aimbot or any other game modification that gives them an advantage will be immediately banned from the tournament.
Ladder Rules
- The WNL will be a ladder.
- The top team will be titled "WNL Champions".
- Teams will be assigned levels according to how many matches they have won. Teams with 0-3 wins will be level 1. Teams with 4-7 wins will be level 2. Teams with 8+ wins are level 3.
- Teams will be awarded 1 point for a draw. Teams that beat an opponent of a higher level than themselves will be awarded 4 points if the team is 3 or less points ahead and 5 points if the team is 4 or more points ahead.
- The fixtures themselves will be done by the teams on selected "pick nights", similar to the ENL Division C.
- Pick nights will take place every Monday between 18:00 - 20:00 BST. Each team will be allotted a 5 minute timeslot to pick their opponent in. Picking order will be prioritised as follows:
- Teams with 0 points that were in the WNL the previous week.
- Teams that have joined the WNL in the current week.
- After these, teams will pick in order of points (from lowest to highest).
- Should teams have equal priority, then the team with the most rounds won will be given priority.
- Teams may not pick a team more than 1 level above themselves. Teams may not pick a team they fought last week, unless there is no other option.
- If a team misses their pick, it will be randomised from any of the next 3 teams in the picking order that lost their new match or are new to the division. Failing that, the pick will be taken from the next team in the picking order that lost their last match or is new to the Division. Failing that, the pick will be random.
- If a team only has two teams to choose from and one of the teams sat out the previous week, they must pick that team.
- ALL matches must be played on dedicated "WNL_" servers. Make sure both teams agree to play on a particular server before booking the server.
- Factions and maps will be determined using a random number generator and they will all be selected in advance.
- Each match will include 1 Open and 1 Closed map. (See map list)
- Server bookings must be made giving at least 24 hours prior to the match.
- Whilst postponing is against the rules, admins will attempt to be as lenient as possible with teams. However the final say does lie with the admins.
- You must contact your opponent by 19:00 BST on Thursday at the max. Otherwise you are going to have to accept the date/time he/she suggested, no matter what.
- All matches are eligible for live-streaming and recording. Streamers and Channels do not need to get permission in order to stream matches, though they should contact the relevant teams in advance of the match and notify them. If for whatever reason teams do not wish their match to be streamed or believe the stream to be unfair then they may contact an event admin for a decision.
Roster Rules
- Teams must submit their full rosters including IDs.
- Players who are not on a team's roster and play in match will not be punished unless they are already on another team's roster. Their ID will be added to the roster of the team they played for after the match.
- IDs will checked to ensure nobody plays for more than one team.
- Should any player be caught playing for more than one team at any time, that player will serve at least a 1 match ban. The team they played for and were not registered for will have 3 points deducted. Should the player be signed up for neither team, then the team that he played for second will face the punishment. Whilst these are guidelines, the tournament admins may decide the strength of the punishment should the above measures not fit.
- If a player is caught playing for multiple teams a second time then they will face severe punishment, with a ban from the tournament not unlikely. Teams and players knowingly involved in this rule breaking will face punishments too.
- It is up to team captains to know whether or not one of their players is on another roster. Blame will lie with the Captain and the team should a new player be found to be on another roster.
- IA player will only count as having played for multiple teams should be have played in official WNL matches for both of them. If a player is added to a roster but never players for the team and then plays for a different team, neither the player or the teams will be punished. Instead he will simply be removed from the first teams roster and added to the second's.
Rule Updates
06/09/2012 - New Roster Rules
- Teams must submit their players with IDs on the Team Rosters thread.
- Players who are not on their team roster will not be punished, they are able to play in the match. They will be added to the roster of the team they played for later when ID's are checked.
- ID's are checked so that playing for multiple teams does not occur.
- ID's will not be removed through request of a player until the given transfer weeks which will occur during the league. There will be no exceptions.
- If a player is caught playing for multiple teams at any time during the league. That player will serve 1 match ban and 3 league points will be deducted to the team he is playing for second. For example; If a player is with team A and is on their roster but plays for team B, team B will be punished
- If a player is caught playing for multiple teams again, their punishment will be extremely severe. Such actions may result in a complete ban from the tournament and severe punishments for teams knowingly involved.
- Top team will be titled "champions" and bottom team will receive the "wooden spoon award".
- If you are bringing a player in to play for your team and is not on the roster. Please make sure that the player is not on any other teams roster, as you will be punished and the player will also be punished.
- After each team has played each other once, the league will then split into even groups. Teams will then play each other in their group once. At no point can any team in the group climb into the climb into a higher or drop into a lower group, regardless of points. Each group will then have the chance to play and fight for 2 "Champions Tournament knock out" places.
- Points are kept going into the group stages.
- After all the teams have played both their full league matches and group matches, positions are final.
- Maps and factions are written now in the Match Rules.
- Fixtures will be scheduled in 'Fixture Sets.' These may contain 3 or 4 matches which are to be completed in the given time period. This system will replace the 1 match per week system to reduce the length of the tournament.
- You now only have to play 16 rounds a match, 8 rounds a map, 4 rounds a spawn-switch. It's been lowered from 20 rounds.
- As postponing is not allowed it has some punishments as well. If a team postpones their match for only one day, they will get one point deduction. If they postpone it for four days or more, it will be three points of deduction for them.
- Substitutions are -now- only allowed between each 4 rounds.
- You must get in touch with your opponent on Thursday at max. Otherwise you are going to have to accept the date/time he/she suggested, no matter what.
- You have 30 minutes to gather your players on a server and begin the match.

- Teams will be awarded 1 point for a draw. Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win against a team of the same level or lower. Teams will be awarded 5 points for a win against a team of a higher level.
- The fixtures themselves will be done by the teams on selected "pick nights", similar to the ENL Division C.

- Teams that fail to pick an opponent will not be punished. They will have a team of equal level or 1 level above randomly selected for them to face.
- If a team only has two teams to choose from and one of the teams sat out the previous week, they must pick that team.
- All matches are eligible for live-streaming and recording. Streamers and Channels do not need to get permission in order to stream matches, though they should contact the relevant teams in advance of the match and notify them. - A team's position in the league will be decided firstly by points, followed by rounds difference and finally followed by rounds won.
- Players may not play for more than 1 team in any given fixture set, even if it is during a transfer period. Should a team have a default win then it will be treated as if all the players on their roster had played, meaning they are unable to play in matches for other teams in the same fixture set.
Thanks to Captain Lust for the ENL Divsion C from which we drew most of the ideas behind the ladder from.
