Admin Banking
• We provide our Pw4 Community admin banking nightly between 8pm - 9pm Australian EST for our members to deposit gold to ensure player losses are minimised  due to game crashes or server restarts.

• Maximum 30k withdrawals to ensure as much of a balance gameplay as possible.

History of LoungeChairCarnage.com.au
LoungeChairCarnage.com.au "LCC" was created in August of 2011 and was initially formed as a With Fire and Sword unofficial fan based community, hosting servers, and a forum for players within this genre in the Australasian region. LCC has grown and branched into all that is Mount & Blade including a large and thriving Official Australian Napoleonic wars hub, a long standing Persistent World community, and multiple servers utilised for regiments. We are now an expanding Online Gaming community and our most recent additions include War of the Roses and a Mine Craft Tekkit server.  We have always been about sharing the games as a community hosting and participating in a variety of tournaments and regular weekly events.  We are dedicated at providing players an experience that compliments the fantastic games we enjoy. 

LoungeChairCarnage has been hosting and providing Australia with an active and enjoyable PW experience since January of 2012.  We at LCC "Aussie_Persistent_RP' pride ourselves in promoting an open role play experience whilst only implementing rules to protect the server quality for the players to enhance their overall gaming experience.  If players have any suggestions or feedback for improvements we encourage them to share these and discuss them on our community hub located at www.LoungeChairCarnage.com.au a fan based online gaming community for Australasian gamers. We are community orientated and value the player ensuring that we offer methods for discussion, feedback and improvements to enhance the quality of their gaming experience. 

LoungeChairCarnage Admin Team
• Our Team is there to provide players with education, reassurance feedback if asked and direction if required whilst maintaining the rule base on the server and following a code of response to breaches on an escalation process if sighted or reported event is proven to have occurred infringing on other players such as ‘Killing without role play amongst our other listed rules. 

• We are firm in our approach but endeavour to be fair and maintain p[layer resepct at all times.

• The LoungeChairCarnage Admin Team have a live feed module created specifically for our needs, with a variety of special features to enable us to not only see full server log information in real time stream but also septically search for a players entire combined submissions of text on the server enabling us to quickly identify continuity in reports, allegations and quickly and more succinctly resolve the situation or identify an outcome.  A special thanks to Matt for the creation, design and implementation of this and a big thanks to Ryan also.

• Many of our administration team have been administrating for LCC PW for over 9 months and are loyale to the needs of those who play on our server whilst being fluent and experienced in our approach to resolution.

• We are here to serve the players and any action we take is designed to educate the player required and protecting the needs of the rest of the server base via carrying out reprimands, education, slaying, kick, temp bans and even permanent bans

Rules:
No Role Play Zones.
• Official Afk boxes. Use these properly do not use them to evade enemies or RP.  Are designed to protect the player and are only acceptable location to go afk. All other locations put your character at risk Ie. your character can be role played whilst you are not there to respond.
• Official Map Administration Bank.
• Spawn Safe Zones

INTERFERENCES WITH ROLE PLAY
• Our servers have absolutely no tolerance for the Random Killing , Team Killing, and Spawn killing of players. 
• Players can only be attacked via proven role play, and nothing said in global, team speak 3 or any other form of media can constitute role play, the only expectable method on this server is through using ‘Q’ local chat
• Global must be minimised in order to reduce distraction for players keeping an eye out for important game announcements via players such as contract and war announcements for example.
• Removing an admin from their duties with false information or a non admin related issue

Offensive Behaviour:
You must show respect to other players at all times. There will be absolutely no racism, anti-Semitism, sexism, textual abuse or any other forms of bigotry. Abusive language directed at players will also not be tolerated.
Server is open to all ages and erotic RP will not be tolerated.

Advertising:
Advertising LoungeChairCarnage Servers on other PW servers is not acceptable or encouraged as people work hard to maintain and build their communities and thus this is something we will not accept on our servers, and any person proven to do this will be banned permanently from our servers on this principle.

New Life Rule "NLR":
• If your character dies you do not remember who killed you as it is a new life or alternatively you could have for examnple suffered a head injury leaving you unable to remember the scenario leading up to your death or your death.

• Do not return to the location of your body or interact with the person who killed you for a term of 5 minutes this includes war.

• Factions respawning at war you must remain neutral and show no threat, sheath or drop weapons and crouch. If map has a faction safe zone stay within this during war for 5 minutes.
 

Duels:
• The only way a duel can occur is through RP. Once a challenge has been accepted it must be stated in global so players know why there is fighting. Duelling because you are bored or have low health on this server are not acceptable reasons.

• Players are not to "ask" other players to kill them to spawn with full life, we encourage surgeons, healers, food and beds per the structure of the game not people taking a short cut to bypass this as we support the creators motives and its importance and promote players to utilise their surroundings to contribute to the servers role play environment.


Factions & War
• The lead up to war must be role played. There always has to be an established role played rationale for why war has been declared.

• Declaration of war: You must send at least send a messenger or entourage explaining war, the messenger is to speak to the enemy faction (local chat only and must be acknowledged) Once the messenger or entourage returns to the faction castle, the faction must then place up three global messages in a row stating "The (declaring faction) declares war on the (other party).

• Please be sensible with ransoming prisoners of war, with a maximum of 5000 gold per enemy member who has chosen to surrender. They can pay this themselves if they have it on their person, be sensible check money pouch, or you can send messengers to their faction or you could execute them on grounds they can not pay if it is not on their person.

• A faction can not capture more than two castles. Other methods involving war can still occur.

• Factions must have 5 or more players on both sides for war to occur.

• Only players in the faction or official faction trained mercenaries (via mercenery training icon) can participate on behalf of the faction at war and kill on sight.

• Alliances can be forged via in game local role play but the process of the declaration of war and the lead up must have occured.
 

Taxation and Factions

• Taxing someone is perfectly fine; it is a great part of role-play. Taxing must be done through RP. To tax an area you must have people guarding it. Bridges, entrance to places, and use of utilities are all taxing. If you are not taxing one of these things it's considered robbing, and you must be an outlaw.

• Tax of entrance to castles should not exceed 1k. Taxation of entering other places, passing bridges, or using utilities should not exceed 750.

• Players who can not afford the tax can be instructed to walk back the other way or not to use the area. Be sensible where you tax it must be
 

Mercenary:

* Must join the faction they are hired for or use mercenary training poles or icons located in most maps.
* If you are not listed in the faction you can not be a mercenary for this faction.


Commoners:
*Commoners can not steal, tax or rob
* Commoners can not carry out assination contracts


Outlaws:
• Outlaws must train as outlaw
• Outlaws can steal what they can carry with role play if a character is present or if items are left unattended. This includes placing into a cart or pack horse within the immediate vacinity other than the one they have taken it from.
• Outlaws can steal horses but never a horse attached to a pack or a cart, they must detach this and only take items they can carry Ie, store.
• Please be sensible when robbing money from players a maximum of 500 gold for commoners without armour and a max of 1000 gold for commoners with armour. Ask to see the players money pouch, but keep in mind not all players know how to do this, you can explain out of character via local //ooc, you hold F12 to target, then hold C, then reveal money pouch to target. Please be sensible when robbing players of gold.
• Individual Faction Members can be robbed of a maximum of 1000 gold.
• Factions can only be extorted a maximum of 10 000 gold. Example: a group of bandits have taken control of a section of a castle etc..
 
Its a great growing community and I hope everyone who has even a minor interest in the supported game types joins LCC to experience the great community. More in particular, joining in Team Speak enhances the community aspect especially when you have a need to discuss with admins. I also believe we are looking for more mature, friendly and active players to become regulars and join the Administration team. We don't just accept anyone but I am certain a couple of you who is reading this now could be more than capable for the position.

Also for a challenging but rewarding Role Play experience in PW please consider joining us in the Town Watch. They are guards of commoner city, enforcers of the law, weapons, armour and gold supplied with strong standards of implementing quality RP and fairness.

I believe a lot of guys like the King Xerxes :grin:.  Osama made the map based on the Battle of Thermopylae (movie 300 based loosley on this) we adapted it to a group of hardened warriors 20 vs at one stage 67 and it was still competive in periods due to the armour and training it was sergents against footmen with the "spartans" wearing hiraldic plate which is not obviously historical but we were after the theory behind it whislt using hte mod as in a large group vs a small group in the setting of a deep narrow revine "Hot Gates".  The Persians were led by King Xerxes and the Spartans Leonidas.  The map consists of 3 capturable flag points where the spartans must hold each section up to two times before they press forward or or lose before they get pushed back.  If the persians lose two battles in a row Xerxes releases his elite forces the Immortals at this stage we changed ratios as it was second reset where we gave guys who were spartans a chance to be persians and vice versa 1/5 of the persian army 10 warriors became Immortals  and to choose which players the top 10 players with kills were selected. 

In the event we had two members of each admin team in the channels of the players to give them directions and communicate what was occuring whilst communicating with admins running main face of event with global messages when needed.  Admins in factions were voted lord to use global faction to ensure some players not in ts3 were still aware.  Most players used the Team speak 3 though.

We had 95 players in this weeks event the Hot Gates!! I think so far the max we have had at our event was 104 but I think the players would apreciate it more if we could increase it!.  By teh way I want to thank Aldric for inspiring us to pursue events like this in Australia it has been very rewarding and although some maps can take longer to organise in between phases generally thats only common negative feedback we have heard so far.  If anyone ever has time to come and particpate (Australia & New Zealand if not there ping may be too excessive to enjoy) or see our events they are on Sunday Australian EST 3:30 pm.

 
I'm sending you this weekend the updated naval battle and Shieldwall "short battle & bridge" edition if you want them.

We should discuss about organisation of event like this to improve our pratices but preparation time is critical the event should start a maximum of 20 minutes after the map start, and there shouldn't be more than 15 beetwen rounds. 1 to 2 admin per team is a minimum and announced clearly the rules at start and slay people who troll so people stay in line.

You're teams maps and contribution to our side of the globe has been well received. We have been pushing to match your level of structure with our events whilst adding our own piece of personality.
 
Is it a map for events ? Looks nice.
Yeah I'll post some photos of it after Sunday's event, but basically each team start equal, fight for the middle ground first. The losers of that engagement move to the camp to the right (of screenshot) and have to attack the middle fort which the original winners now defend. The idea of this map is only to last 3-4 battles max so not to prolong the event.

Three tiers of weapons and armour, however only team will get access to the end tier, so its really important to capture that middle ground! However the third tier is only opened if the original winners win at the Castle siege battle.
 
Aussie_Persistent_RP server will be rolling back to Beta 5 for our main server, unfortunately too many are encountering the dreaded crashes.

We will be keeping a smaller beta 6 server up for testing
