Open up BRFedit/OpenBRF, hit file > open, and open M&B Warband's CommonRes folder. Find a weapon that looks similar to yours (in weapon_meshes), export it to your desktop (or anywhere) as an .obj, open up Wings3D, import the .obj from your desktop. The triangulated item will appear, and you just have to make sure the proportions match your model's. So just fit and fix it, and see if anything's wrong (like if the hilt's wider than your model's) and make corrections.

What program do I use to open the weapon_meshes files?

You mean as in items.py? Or like items_kind1.txt?

Hey there. Looking at your videos, I can tell that my version of Wings is a little different, though it looks about the same.

I wanted to ask what the exact version that you were using in these videos was. I'm using 0.98.32a, but it might be a little easier to to follow your videos if I'm using the same version.

I must be an imbecile or something, but for some reason - and just on this one project - I can't get this hammer to stay solid as I swing it in game... What have I done wrong? lol

Disregard that.

Video links fixed.
Written tutorials may be gone into the net ether...seeing if they can be salvaged. EDIT- links to their archived forms on the Internet Wayback Machine added to the OP

When you are on the tutorial's download page on the M&B Repository, click the "View this file on the M&B Nexus" button to download from the Nexus website.

I only recently started to get into M&B Warband and downloading mods.  I decided to try my hand at some things and spent much of the last day tripping over my own feet trying to learn how to use these modelling tools since I have zero experience in it.  I'm two tutorials in and I have a better understanding now than I figured out all day :D

Thanks so much for this!

(And Btw your English is better than many native speakers.  Perfectly clear and easy to understand.)
