US community it too small to do it state by state, imo. It'd be better to do it in categories, IE:

Best caller, best cav, best inf, best archer, best duelist, best overall.

If that's too specific, however, you could also do best battle player and best duelist.

At this point, the US community being so small and having 50 states, being the best player in Montana means nothing because you're probably only one out of three players who play from Montana.

Fully agreed. I was going to propose region-by-region, but category-wise is superior.

People also generally don't even know what other state other people are from. The only reason I knew Unicorn was because I asked him, and you can't expect everyone to do that.

Like I said, some people will be the best in the state simply because no one else lives there. 

Small pool size is eclipsed by the sheer number of states -- not to mention so many of the talented players living in Texas.
