About Us
We are the 2tes Ostpreußisches Jägerbataillon, a prussian Skirmisher Batallion formed on the 20th of July 2012. We aim to be a proffesionally built clan for NW, primary for Trainings and Linebattles. We have military structure with the most possible historically accurate prussian ranks and also try to act historically accurate on the battlefield. All of our players are mature individuals who want to have fun in a disciplined unit, and thats what we expect from every new member too: Being able to play for an hour without massive headbanging or shouting how much your scrotum itches in Teamspeak. Even though we are somehow laid back, for events we focus on discipline and and roleplaying, this includes respect for each other and especially for the officers. Thats how we want to achieve to be one of the most disciplined and best trained clans in the community.
History of the real Unit
Formed out of 4 Companies of the Garde Jäger Bataillon in 1808, the 2tes fought in the Russian Campaign in 1812 and in the Wars of Liberation in 1813. After the Napoleonic Wars, it was renamed with the number 1, and fought in several wars, for example against Austria 1866 or the Franco-Prussian War 1870/71 before it was disbanded in 1918 after World War 1.

Feldwebel [Fwb] (Seargent) – Senior NCO, Drillmaster
Oberjäger [Oj] (Corporal) – Junior NCO
Gefreiter [Gef] (Lance Corporal) – Enlisted men first class
Jäger [Jag] (Private) – Enlisted men
Kadett [Kad] (Cadett) – New member with basic training
Rekrut [Rek] (Recruit) – New members without knowledge of the basics

Requirements to join
You need
- to be at least 16 years old
- a working Teamspeak 3 client and the knowledge how to operate it
- a copy of Warband and Napoleonic Games
- the motivation to play in a disciplined unit
