[Maps] Gokillers Maps (New Map 7)

Hello NW community,

I'll just use this thread to  "re-post" all the maps on I made, and witch afcourse can be used by anyone.
Credits are appreciated. Download links, and screenshots all included (mainly copied the templates from the contest).
Mostly "kind" of maps you can expect from me are.

Information
Scene Name: Flank Assault
Description: Skirmish Public map, quite small maps, with some hills, the main defensive side for team 1. Leaves team 2 no other choise than to look for the alternative ways on both sides of the map, crossable hills. Some ruins, and alot of cover. one 12 Pounder on each side.

Information
Scene Name: Countryside
Description: Linebattle map, both side with one cannon, and some roads witch would provide cover for both sides when in combat, the forrest for skirmish fights. And the open terrains for cavalry to manoeuvre easier. With a small town, some rivers and ground-height different so a line isn't a direct target for the artillery. Cannons are both 12 Pounders on each side.

Information
Scene Name: Gardens at the Beach (Optional)
Description: (Public Gameplay) Team 1 spawn at the Beach, team 2 at the Wineyards. Where they meet up in the center bridge, there are two flanking ways on both sides to cross the water. The bridge is destrutable. The coloured house is Destrutable, the white onces not. Two mortars one on each side of the river, a forrest. A corn field, and a little pond. An some gardens.

Information
Scene Name: Island
Description: Small Battle map, were the attacking side is having 4 boats witch they will need to cross the water, and to attack the island and his defensive spots. The defending is having one boat in case for an counterattack. There are two 12 pounders and one mortar for the defending side, and three mortars for the attacking side. The weather is foggy, so it's a bit harder to see the boats from both sides. (That's the intention atleast). Tho, weather changes are optional. And any other small changes can be made on request.

Scene Name: Snowy Bridge - (optional (?))
Description: Small map, with a small village on the side, two 12 pounders on each side, an flanking forrest, a destroyable bridge, and a crossabble river on several places. Both sides have one house.

Information
Scene Name: Spanish Hillside
Description: Simple battle mode, a mortar for each side, two crossings several defensives, the town on the hill is to weak to be seen as a real fort type. Your not enable to just walk up the mountain, you have to make use of the road leading to the top.

I like the MM-Feel of open Areas. No Cramped alleyways, No cities on the fields. I like it.
 
GoKiller, you could add walls the the first map and change the layout to make a awesome siege map. I would like to see a siege map that does not have solid walls but giant trenches and relies on defenders to keep the attackers out.

I hoped that I could have another map finished by now. But due my PC got broken, and is currently being repaired. Ill have to let you guys with for a little longer :sad:

An urban map? Or a siege one! :smile:

But btw I like your Garden at the Beach and your Island map! :smile:
But why you don't replace those undestroyable houses in teh garden with destroyable ones?
 
seeing as I find the current onces the best looking, and the big house is a prop on it's own, with fits perfect aswell.
It's sad that these props on there own are not destrutable. :sad:

Anyway I was thinking of some port Urban map. Might be an idea?

Would be nice especially if you could enter buildings.
 
What I usually do with viking maps (snow maps) is that I usually use the ice to create a different type of bridges. You can also use it to cover lakes, and replace just pure plain ground with frozen lakes which gives a nice chill effect to the map. Furthermore I really like it!
