Have you ever wanted to defend the fatherland but were too alone and pitiful? Well all that can change in a few quick minutes by talking to a recruiter and enlisting with the 23rd RI today! Join for regular line battles and public games as well as plenty of fun! We have a teamspeak where we co ordinate our game playing. We play NW, but also Minecraft and Arma2 quite a bit. Hopes for the regiment:
Grow bigger and create a close knit group of gamers that have fun. My hope is to have us be disciplined and prepared enough never to have trainings. But at the beginning we will have trainings occasionally, but I'd like to make it a rare occurrence. Also if you've ever been in a serious regiment you've dealt with PTS and the straight faced stuff that they do, we aren't like that. During a line battle you listen to your commanding officer, and during trainings you listen and don't troll, but that's about it. We don't usually have PTS because we don't usually have so many members that we need to use it, it makes for a friendler environment and I think we all have more fun this way.
Requirements-
1. Willing to come to line battles once in a while. (We will probably have one every Friday, and occasionally another one maybe on Tuesday)2. A microphone. (Not necessary but if you want to lead the troop then you need it)
3. Can take a joke, and dish it out. We're semi serious in a line battle, but other than that we are having fun.
4. No age limits, but maturity is gauged, we have a chat usually before you join up.
5. Teamspeak. Easy download and you need it to hear us sing. And occasionally give orders. We use Regimental Gaming's teamspeak (68.65.59.11:998
