Hope many Cav regiments will fight in this tournament ... good luck

I'd love to see Infantry Regiments, and pubber to. Let's just hope I did not overestimate the Interest for a Cavalry version

How many members are you allowed to have in your team? Doesn't really say much about that.

Definitely want to participate, just gotta get a team together. Likely it'll be with some other 15e regimentmates, but we may bring in an external cav expert to give us more bite. It's going to be interesting to see more organic 'infantry' cav players face up to the seasoned cav-regiment experts, would sure love to give 'em a run for their moneyz  (will probably only end up trying ).

And Svensson raises a good point: team size? I'm assuming 5 will fight at one time, seeing as the other group fighting tournaments have had this rule and also seeing as the latest team sign-ups have that number of players in them. If so, wouldn't it be useful to have 1 or 2 subs too?

Team size is definitely 5, not sure about subs.

I suggest 2 subs, seeing as there's always the change that one of those 5 has to unexpectedly leave during the event or has technical problems during the matches (e.g. crashes). It also makes for a bit of flexibility when teams are developing tactics/plans as different cav players can specialise in different areas.

Some questions:

What happens in the eventuality that someone is dismounted during the fight? Are they allowed to continue fighting?

Are you allowed to dismount during the fight voluntarily? Imagine if a Lancer is dismounted, he essentially becomes an anti-cav force, so you'd want to dismount to face him with your sword.

What happens if a team accidently or deliberately kills a teammate's horse and that it leads them to get an advantage (e.g. they get a Lancer on foot).

You could ban using Lances on foot to avoid the above 2 situations.

And, have you considered instead of having all cav players use the same class that every team is required to use a certain mix of classes. E.g. Each team is required to have 2 Heavy Cavalry, 2 Light Cavalry, 1 Lancer Cavalry. Seeing as all Cavalry is pretty balanced in NW it might give a bit of spice to the matches without having a situation where 1 class is over-dominant (in infantry groupfighting it's different, as Sword Infantry would take up too much of the focus of the match, hence that's why it's bayonet only). It'd also help solve disputes on which class to fight as, both for teamplayers internally and overall teams, and avoid a very likely situation of only Heavy Cavalry being used throughout the whole tournament. Just an idea.

Sorry to be pedantic, just trying to help the whole conceptual process.
