Liked PR2. Not sure if want, maybe in a year or so when I can get it dirt cheap. The hansa setting appeals more to me anyways.

Never got into PR2, and the map looks a bit small in PR3 but I have no idea how good it will be/is and am interested to hear about it.

Anyone played it yet?

From reading, it sounds like a simplified version of Patrician (a game (series rather) that I love).

Lots of complaints on the official forums of missing features and bugs.

The two things that seem to separate this game from the Patrician series is better combat (I have not seen any evidence of this yet, but it is the general vibe I have received) and more of an emphasis on different nations and politics, which may be interesting. Sounds almost like a combination of Patrician and Pirates! when I put it like that.

Hmm, I wonder how the multiplayer will work out. Seems like it could be a great game, we'll see though.

Bought it yesterday, regretted it ever since I started playing. Apparently for £35 I should have expected awful graphics, 2D gameplay and a storyline that gives me missions I have no way of completing, due to the ****ing pirates not being where they're meant to goddamn be.

Most disappointing game I think i've ever bought.
