I've been getting these problems aswell, I've got only got one config, the secure connection is - ive tried different values for the number of connections allowed. It's SO annoying when trying to play a line battle you dissconnect. It seems to be completely random too, can sometimes play a whole round other times not. HELP!?

I also made an account just so I could reply to this.

I bought this game and the mod two days ago and haven't been able to connect to any server at all. I can fight against bots all day long, but anytime I try to join a game I immediately get the connection to server lost message. I thought it was my internet originally, but I can play Team Fortress 2 without any problems. I have no idea what to do to get it to connect.

EDIT: Finally got it to work. I had been using a wireless connection for my PC, as soon as I hooked the hard line up it took off. Not sure if it was just a bad signal or what since other games would play with wireless. Oh well, I can play now that makes me happy.

EDIT2: Yeah, worked for a bit then same problem. Any suggestions?

well since the update i haven't been disconecting from servers which is  plus, thanks vincenzo

however now i just get a lag spike which is slightly preferable. now my game is on par with other games on connection, and i just have to find out whats wrong with my system

Have you tried turning off your firewall and/or antivirus and connecting? See if one of those is interfering.

I've turned off the firewall and still get the same thing. Doesn't matter what the server I either get "connection to server is lost" before I get to the faction selection screen or right after it comes up. I managed to play for about an hour earlier, but had to get off for a little bit. When I tried to get back on the same thing happened and haven't been able to play since. The native version doesn't work either.

I've do the configure settings from 0 to 1 and back, I changed the max connections to 300 and then back to 16 and none of them made any difference. It has to be something with the game, but I've had all the file re-verified through Steam, and can't find anything. I wouldn't be so pissed off about it if I hadn't just spent $30 on this game and now can't even play it.

Any news?

Had the same problem, my whole Internet crashes. I didnt happen with any other game, also Warband native runs without problem. Only Napoleon Wars crashes...sometimes after 30 Minutes, sometimes after 5 Minutes...

Any solution??

That's my issue as well.

I have tried everything ever suggested on all threads from resetting the secure connection to 0 trying the M&B test files, and deleting the rcl files even though there was never 2 and always 1.

I just recently joined a regiment and 90% of my games I get disconnected and when I can play its only for 5 minutes.

Now its gotten to the point where I made this account just to find the answers to this I really want to play this game please someone help!

I've already posted this problem on the other thread, but yes I'm also experiencing the Disconnection problem. I haven't had any problem until recently.

I had this problem no more...think its maybe cause i had Teamspeak on. Without it worked last Weekend for hours.

Dont know if this is really the problem. Only the Custommap 17 is bugging and lagging, but make no disconnects...

Mount and Blade by itself is an awesome Single Player game - Even if you can't get the DLC to work, its worth the investment.

Something else that I've seen suggested.. try running an internet radio like Pandora while you play to stabilize your connection.

How could it be the connection if I am told I have excellent connection?

I suppose I'll play the single player but its still a disappointment and playing against bots who have no common sense to run around a wall rather than into it is boring(for Napoleonic Wars).

Data transfer is an interesting thing mate. You could have the fastest connection in the world and still have trouble connecting to things.

At any rate, it's worth a try. If you don't want to bother, well, enjoy your game.

I had this problem then I ran a defrag and it worked. Now It is happening again and defraging is not helping. Omg it just plane sucks!!!
