The 5th Brigade is a small brigade in the larger British Army of King George III. Due to their immense courage and valour on the battlefield, the Brigade earned the nickname "Balls and Bayonets" which led Lord Flashheart to declare his men "unbreakable". The Brigade has already established itself as a strong presence on the Continent and will swiftly bring a severe amount of pain to any foreigner, Frenchie or otherwise, who dares stand against the might of His Royal Majesty's Army.

If you wish to challenge the Brigade to a battle or would like us to attend any of your events, please contact
our Brigade Events Officer - Brigadier General Wodan (see Brigade Command Staff section).

If interested in the Brigade, feel free to join TS for more info.

Overview: Lord Flashheart and his General Staff are the ones who keep the Brigade operational, as well as make the tactical decisions before, during and after battles.
Currently, all of the administration of the Brigade is done by Lord Flashheart himself, although in the future they may be dedicated staff members for different areas.

Overview: The 1st Regiment of Foot Guards (later named the Grenadier Guards due to their valiant defeat of the French Grenadiers at the Battle of Waterloo) are one of the foremost
deadliest regiments in the British Army. Their skill at both melee and ranged combat makes them a force to be reckoned with, and so they are a senior regiment within the 5th Brigade.

Overview: The King's German Legion was made out of expatriated Germans who fought for the British Crown against Napoleon. They are the best of the best that the German State
had to offer, and the 3rd Line Battalion was among the elite within the Legion itself. Now that the 3rd have been assigned to the 5th Brigade, they can continue to devastate the armies of Napoleon.

Detachments are smaller units from usually larger regiments of supporting units. Such examples are the 95th Rifles Regiment, the Royal Artillery and the Royal Engineers. It was almost unheard of to deploy an entire support regiment together and so instead small detachments were deployed with other Regiments or Brigades to aid them in battle.

Overview: Although the 95th "Rifles" Regiment of Foot was a singular regiment (see here for the 95th Regiment recruitment thread); companies of riflemen were often
posted with other brigades aking to the battalions of other regiments. The 5th Brigade Rifles Company is one of those companies sent to assist on the battlefield
with their superior range and deadly accuracy, and so they are considered a valuable asset to the Brigade and the regiments that fight along side them.

Overview: The Royal Artillery saw extensive use during the Napoleonic Wars. Huge advances in technology enabled the British to create better cannons and train their men to a higher degree in order to
use their equipment to the maximum potential. The 5th Brigade Artillery Crews are a deadly addition to the Brigade, and strike fear into the hearts of the enemy when their explosive sound is heard.
