I really like the idea. However, there are some historical flaws. The features-list must be fixed and the English written on the scroll is just plain bad. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's the way it is.

As an example, I have never heard of the Vikings wearing body paint. If you have a source on this, I would love to see it, but, as I said, I've never heard of it.

That's not warrior paint, they are bad prison tats.  The one on the face was during a mad week-long meth binge.  The useful street subtext is "don't mess with a man who lacks the self control to avoid permanant facial disfiguremnet".  It's solid gold for street thug work, better than holding a gun intimidation wise.
