True.. But with their numbers, it'll probably drive people away. Especially since they're so inclined to do things that annoy people when they want to play casually - such as constant shieldwalls, which barely work outside the events due to no such rules on normal play and thus the whole team gets slaughtered, or even not listening to the person playing leader class because it's not their clan leader, which the Jomsborg did last time they all went on when I played. I was leader, they didn't even acknowledge that. And thus just listened to Ragnarr.

In short; Don't overwhelm with both of your numbers, as people won't even be able to get in the server let alone play and listen to leader class if there's going to be any sort of organisation.
 
Why nobody is playing any more? I saw maybe 2-3 people around, but rarely more. Teamspeak is empty as well; so many people played this mod, now nobody want to. But... why? I came back from the abyss not that long ago, I thought people still play here. I saw massive amount of Napoleonic servers, some other unworthy crap... and two Vikingr servers, both empty. People still play even that Native dung, so why not Vikingr? It's better in almost every way.
 
At the moment I'm sure many people who used to play regularly on Hildileikr are playing The Deluge (since the new patch is marvellous). For my own part, I hardly ever play outside of the Shieldwall Event (which is still being hosted every first Sunday each month) any more.

EDIT: Also, summer.
 
Everything Þorkell says is the case for me as well. Furthermore Víkingr is great, no doubt, but even such a splendid modification is not immune to becoming repetitive as one gets older. I am sure a new patch would arouse new interest but I fear it is highly unlikely that we will see another one.

Totally agree! We need more vikings!!!!!!!!
 
Work, family, friends, work, football world cup, summer, work... and for these reasons alone I did and do not get around to play Vikingr or the Deluge, not even speaking about motivation to beat the drum and stir up motivation in others.
