'War between the Americans and the Templar's'

For **** sake.

When does this come out?

and it makes sense, the rhetoric of the americans in the revolution was based around liberty, just like our wittle assassains creed friends.

I still side with the Templars. And those screenshots look meh.

The screenshot with the Assassin at the side of Washington during the crossing of the Delaware is...well, there it is.

So far as the text, at least they admit there will be a good deal of rural areas and apparently there will be corresponding mechanics.

RPS have some more screens

It actually doesn't look awful.

They've been improving by every release... well, except that Revelation's location wasn't quite as interersting as the ones before. Ass Creed 1 was the only one to truly suck bawls. I'm looking forward to the next one. They'd have to **** their **** quite royally up if they managed to make anything worse than the first Ass Creed.

EDIT: Or to make a character more bland and uninteresting than Altair Abdullahinsallahfalafellahwhatshisfacellah.

Fakkin sweet. But **** that hood, seriously, it should've disappeared after AC I

I'm wondering how the presence of guns is going to change the dynamics of combat. The one-at-a-time thing from previous installments could be justified by the melee guards not wanting to get in each other's way (even though that's still a stretch) and guards with firearms were very rare, but what exactly is going to prevent a group of musket-armed soldiers from keeping their distance and simply shooting the dude all at once?

Yeah, a dude in a hood running around during the American Revolution? Seriously? The outfit looks extremely out of place in that setting. The outfit in AC1 was simple and plain, in keeping with the monastic thing the Assassins had going, and the fabulous outfits in subsequent Asscreeds were quite badass, but this is just stupid.

Yes, but I've noticed that the protagonist lacks a hidden blade.
How can you tell? Maybe its well hidden?

I was thinking about the same thing, and I fear that the whole combat might turn into hit-and-run, slowly killing off the enemies instead of rushing into melee. But then again, if you do rush into melee, and considering the muskets can only get one shot before you're on their skin...We'll see, I suppose.

Maybe the hookblade will be further developed into a kind of harpoon? So you shoot a dude with it, then pull him close to use him as a living shield? Could be an interesting gameplay mechanic, actually.

So the guy is a native American, fighting for the revolutionaries.

Why exactly?
