Strenght, courage and pride; those are the words of a man! Greeting sire and welcome to the 'Order of the Knights Templar' page. This clan was founded on 21.02.12 by the man called 'Eragon'. Knights Templar are build by currage, loyalty and friendship of its mastermen. Our aim is to create a friendly based community and conquer the Holy Calradia and to create a disciplined skilledful force. As well as scheduled training sessions, we play competitive and fun battles. We train our members to become good leaders and skilled warriors, and makes our promotion decisions easier to make as well as who should play in matches as what. They are also called " the Order of the poor knights of Christ and the temple of Salomon", were created in the Holy Land during the beginning of 12th century by lords of Champagne (north-east of France), who were there consequently to the 1st crusade. In fact, when Huges de Payens ask for a place for his fellow poor knights to the governor of Jerusalem, they received a place near the temple. The temple itself was nothing but ruins, and over them was build stables. As the knights used horses, that's why they go there and slowy became known as "knights of the temple". The historical context brings also the reason of their creation: a band of knights decided to use their own ressources to protect pilgrims and locals from bandits and pillagers on the surrounding lands. Their own valor and success bring them fame, and later for political reasons, they became under the autority of the Pope which bring them independance. Many recruits were lords, who gave their lands to the order (as they renonce to be rich, becoming monks), so the administration of the order had enough money to make its own fleet, equip troops and build fortresses. Their history is quite long and spread on almost 200 years, which end Friday the 13th of october 1307 with the massive arrestation of all templars the same day.
