V1 now includes the Brunswick faction, new Generals and staff officers for Prussia and France, historically correct names for most of the factions, plus players and mod supporters, civilians in period dress and a bit of a tidy up for some of the older models.

by god when i first downloaded forgotten hope for bf1942 it went at 100 and everyone was like "holy crap thats insane fast"
now you call a 1 hour download TOO SLOW?
start the download, grab a deck of cards, play a game of solitare on your table, come back and play 1812

Yey 160kb/s ....

I know I can happily download this mod is less than 5 mins but its going to take 30 minutes ... that is only about double the speed of mb repository when I can get 12x out of my internet.

personally i'd suggest looking for better upload and download options.
