Server Rules and Guidelines

So I will be using this thread in hopes the community will give feedback for an outline for servers.


TC_NA_Deluge server outline

250slots (not important for all servers)
Our gold is 1800 (you all think this is too much, too little, or just right)
Gametype : Mainly battle but some invasion (you all like battle or invasion more)
Factions: 1 faction per team (Do players want 1 or 2 factions per team?)
Admins: active and polite but fun (What kind of admins do players want)
Units: should units be left on default or changed to a certain number?

Now we should all create standard rules for servers.

For example in our server we constantly have people who go engineer and hide in the FAR corner of map and just keep digging barricades, thus hiding behind them while enemy searches for them. This has become an annoyance because if just 1 enemy is searching for 1 player who is hiding, the game get dragged for quite some time so I always tell players that if they do it I will kick them for server.

Now who else would like to give some feedback for some rules or ingame events that occur (such as one stated above) that needs to be changed or have a rule against?

Just general things like using glitches or extremely hard to reach areas to hide from other players. All common sense really.
