two frames glitch

I very often get a sort of crush which makes the game go from one frame to another and back, and it is an infinite loop. This happens of course when there are many men involved, in forests particulary, and with high shaders on. the only way to continue is to press quit many times and set shaders on medium. But that is temporary, as soon it crushes again..
What is the deal? What can be done so I don't get this type of crush (every 30 minutes approx)

Crush? You ment Crash?

Whats your computer specs?
And you could try lowering the Battle size. As far as I know 150 is the highest, and 30 lowest
