not so insterested in the placing of the mod but it seems so organized and well planned that im gonna play it. "well planned,half done"  :smile:
 
I'm not an expert
although some items remain in use for longer periods in Africa
so there is still a possibility that similar items might have been used in older times
don't forget that mail armor is proof of a continuous medieval tradition
take this sword as an example

He's quite right. The Berbers of Northern Africa did have a longer tradition of keeping more Medieval style of weapons and tactics, but they did receive a lot of help from the Barbary Pirate states through the Ottomans. I'll be sending your team a bunch of scanned items and photos for you later this weekend after I've finished some extensive coding for our mod.

@ celestialred, not only the North Africans, but also and above all the Black africans as we can notice in the pictures provided by matmohair :wink:

@ matmohair, unfortunately, we can't put WFS stuffs in Warband mods :???:
