I'm interested in acquiring a replica sword from the Napoleonic Wars, anyone know any good sites to go to, that won't sell me a piece of chinese metal that will break when I take it out of the box?
Haha, not bad, I'll take this for a while
Don't know any good sites for that btw, I know some good ones for uniforms though.

Could you shoot me a link to these sites?  Curious to see these uniforms now too lol.

I've heard good things about these guys.
Thanks Docm, I think this one http://www.militaryheritage.com/1803sword.htm looks really nice, most likely going to get it.

These come to mind. I've never bought anything from them though but they seem solid. Which makes me re-phrase my statement

Prices for these things always make me spit tea everywhere. I could buy a hauberk and coif for the same price as a Napoleonic Coatee, though I suppose being made in India cuts a lot off the price.

Military heritage swords seem quite reasonable though, not sure if they're wall-hangers or for reenactment, but as long as they don't fall apart like cold steel stuff, it doesn't really matter.

Wow, oh wow.

Teräasekeskus is pretty good, from what I know:

As I know this mod will have many features, I was curious as to if Freelancer had been thought of or considered. The ability to enlist in armies and work your way through the ranks would fit this mod very well I think.

I think this has been discussed in the past and the answer was no, you can just follow a lord's army

This is actually a very usual question. No, there will not be freelancer because the mod has its own system that's way more logical, realistic and immersive.

If there was Freelancer and you could join an army as a regular soldier, then considering the fact that the mod is as historically accurate as possible, it would be impossible to become an officer right? Unless you do what Sharpe did but that would still probably not help. But wait, wouldn't that be possible in Napoleon's army?
