Well, the Ottoman's failure to play a large role played a large role. Anyway, I meant I'd work on them at the same time, is that not sufficient?hherlev said:Not to complain, but I would say the scandinavian countries played a significantly larger role in the Napoleonic wars than the ottomans did.
Of course its your mod and your decision.
Docm30 said:Nice to hear everyone's plans for the mod, but I should point out that the first release will focus on the war of the fifth coalition and probably only contain the following factions:
France
Austria
Britain
Prussia
Russia
Rhine Confederation
Italy
Naples
Warsaw
Holland
Tyrol
Once that's out of the way, I'll start work on the Peninsular war, then the Ottomans and Scandinavians.
I know everyone would like to have Iberia in the first release, but I'd like to get it out as soon as possible, and the peninsular war would add about 4-6 months of development time.
I totally agree on the awesomeness of the Austrian grey-black overcoat (called überrock in German). I'd very much like to see it in-game!Radetzky said:Anyway in my first game I'm gonna start in Austria, get the awesome austrian officer grey-black overcoat (if there will be one?) and raise regiment of jägers.

I always thought it was among the smartest uniforms from the period. I imagine most Austrian players will want to wear one (and maybe even forgo the less dashing general's uniform).Captured Joe said:I totally agree on the awesomeness of the Austrian grey-black overcoat (called überrock in German). Spain is listed among the factions. In fact two Spanish factions are listed.

Yes but my great country not be added in the next version, if not the next, docm explained that he needs more time.

Docm, you can put photos on the map?
It will create factions?

Could someone please show me a pic of this so-called 'smart uniform' ?
Google gives too many pictures
That seems a brilliant idea! But i think this mod is kind of set on just the napoleonic mod, but a mod like that is a marvoulous idea!Mikeyo said:Question are we going to be controlling the nation in the campaign or are we going to be a private, or can we be a private who can rise in the ranks and choose a regiment to enlist from like the freelancer mod, but you can enlist in different areas, for example a village on the North West of England, you can join the 33rd, or choose a path of a officer or a senior officer and choose from the beginning which regiment you are apart of, because I think it would be a nice take on it
