Konar gave me administrator status over there, mostly for upkeep, but I'd like to do some articles as well. It's a bit dead.

So, any suggestions on mods or similar things that I should write up? I already sent a PM to Shredzors (Wild Wind) but I was wondering who else I should maybe contact for an article.

Ostland Campaign for sure, Vikingr as well (don't believe they ever got an article?).

I know this is Other Games, but to be perfectly honest I find the folks in Off-Topic to be far less of a pain than those in On-Topic. I can only imagine the flame-fest I'd get if I posted this there.

Eh, you could write about OSP authors like Dejawolf who recently released some sweet new helmets, or report about Dain finally being tired enough of the incredibly stupid and annoying assholes in his thread to close it. And there's no doubt plenty of other mods about.

You could get the story of A house divided alot of things happened in about a month which would be cool to see the story from all sides.

Glad to see there's some life over there. I still have my MountFanBlade mug that Konar gave to me for the work I did . Haven't been there in a while though.

I would say write about whatever interests you because otherwise, it'll only get harder to motivate yourself.

However, if you're ever strapped for ideas, one thing that seems to be missing is coverage of the competitive Warband scene. I think there's the support and interest for it, as the scene is flourishing. If there were regular articles, maybe features on clans or events, big matches etc. I wouldn't be surprised if you built up a following fairly quickly. I know someone started writing reports on the ENL, for the Russian community, that were quite popular but it was fairly unofficial and he stopped doing it, for whatever reason.

Though, like I said, if it's not something you're interested in, it probably isn't worth your time.

Eh, I'm not really big on clans and skrimming and what have you. If they learned to capitalize and act like adults, maybe, but until then... I'll report on the mods.

I mean, really, it's the childishness and lack of decent English that caused me posted on the opposite end of the board than where it should be.

Progress Update on PoP 4.0 Legacy are very well-made and informative, plus they do it quite frequently (~1 month per report)
I think you can literally put those previews on without very little edits
