Anyways that aside, we did pretty good today. Im happy to see so many ppl on. Now if only we can have 10 ppl in the linebattles, then we would really get our name out there. :p
We worked on the classic single rank formation stuff and then moved onto the challenging double rank stuff. It actually was pretty good. I wasnt sure the two officers in front idea would work but it did. The men in the columns behind followed the CO's step by step. Now the only thing we need to work on is moving left or right in a double rank column...
After those drills, I decided to take Cpl Hans advice and develop a way to capture trenches with minimal casualties. The spread out line charge works very good provided there is cover to mask the approach and the enemy isnt aware of the charge...
We should have a melee training day soon. That would improve everyone's ability to kill in close quarters. Perhaps this Thursday we'll have it. idk.
The last thing I want to address is the removal of some people from the watched list. Cpl Hans, Pvt Fishy, and Cpt Hische proved their worth in todays training and will no longer be watched. Congrats guys. Keep showing up to stuff and I may promote you...
