Main Features:
  • Numerous extra Heros to join your party!
  • Heroes can be ordered to auto-upgrade their equipment by automatically making purchases when they have sufficient funds!
  • Heroes can auto-loot: intelligently select new equipment from the loot pool and discard unwanted equipment!
  • Expanded loot screens to handle Hero inventories much easier.
  • Prepare your Heroes to enter battle using custom Hero battle profiles!
  • No more Party Skill penalty!
  • Merchants, Tavernkeepers, Armorers, and Weaponsmiths in the capturable castles!
  • Loot after battle now sorted from most expensive to cheapest.
  • A random chance of finding unique weapons!
  • Leadership and Prisoner Management offer a 10 head-count per skill point :D
  • Expanded Dark line of troops with Dark line of items.
  • A new foe: Awali Tribespeople, deadly specialists in unmounted combat!
  • Changed all merchant refresh time to 6 hours, to represent a day's business.
  • More Vaegir/Swadian/Dark parties will exist at one time.
  • Talak's background screen, town icons, skybox, weapons, and retextured Dark line of items.
  • New, unavailable items in vanilla, made by Taleworlds, now available at the armorers' shops!
  • Better horses!
  • Better archery!
  • Heroes get extra gold and experience after battle!
  • Sell Prisoners at any Tavern!
  • Improved the Sword Sister line. A new promotion after Sword Sister. Sword Sisters now follow battle profiles and can take any role (cavalry, archer, foot, lancer, etc) you order them to!
  • Modified item stats.
  • And much more!



The Contributors:

  • fisheye - original Extra NPC mod, code, etc. that started this off. New script contributions, assistance and debugging with my scripts and converted scripts.
  • Talak - models, textures, and other graphical goodies.
  • TheMageLord - Script to sell prisoners at taverns.
  • All mod forum contributors who figured everything out already.
  • The list will be updated as I can identify the source of the contributions ;)



0808d Changes and Additions:
  • Renamed Destriers, Barded Destriers, Armored Destriers with a color, so that faction missions to fetch horses lets you know which ones are required.
  • Allow Dark troop horses as lootable items.
  • Toned down Black Khergit and Awali numbers a bit.
  • Added Merchant, Tavernkeeper, Armorer, Weaponsmith to each castle.
  • Added more space to the Zendar Chest.
  • Removed horses from Vaegir Veterans, so you aren't forced to have a mounted troop before the upgrade to horseman or infantry.
  • Increased weekly wages.
  • Added script to remove Party Skill penalty! Hero's "train" the player when their skill difference is more than 2 to raise your skill.
  • Tweaked weights of headwear.
  • Minor weapon stat tweaks.

0808a Changes and Additions:
  • Added Talak's new horses. Temporary tats are as follows: Chestnut/White/Black Horse = Saddle Horse, Light C/W/B Horse = Hunter, Medium C/W/B Horse = Warhorse
  • Added in new party - Mercenary Party. Found in fisheye's original code ;)
  • Gave Sword Sister and Dark Knight troop lines Talak's new horses.
  • Worked on the Hero buy scripting. Everything should be working now.
  • Forgot to fix Ymira's House  :oops: (next version)
  • Added back some of the Extra NPC parties, such as Vaegir and Swadian Foot Armies.
  • Tweaked the troop types in the native parties like Extra NPC mod (e.g. Brigands in Forest Bandit Parties, other Vaegir troops in Vaegir Deserters).

Development Log:

  • Working on another Constable Hareck quest. I know, it's been played out, but I need to learn more about dialogs :)
  • Added extra bonus for getting promotions. Need to add a message yet.
  • Weekly wages increased significantly.
  • Will incorporate a "recruit from prisoners" script.

Love this name, caught my attention immediatly, maybe a more fitting name may be in order (band of NPCs!  :P) Iunno, but this is excellent.

Not only for the word limit, but also its nice to have a first post with for example, information, a second with screenshots, and a third with dowload links and stuff. Way more easy and attractive to look at.

I like the new name extra NPC mod just sounds too generic.  You've got lots of nice items now, too.

Never played the Extra NPC mod, but I'm psyched and I'll try this out.

I still need to rebalance item weights, so the Dark line of items will have lighter weights than the native versions. This will make the Dark troops a bit faster. The next release will include the improved horse stats, and I want to put a little ZING! back into archery. I'll release small progress updates often up to the point where I have to solicit fisheye for updated scenes. In other words, my small changes first, then the changes from Extra NPC mod. I'll have to see if Silverkatana is going to do a full update to Dionisia or not. If not, then I'll hack together what I can from the original mod. I don't know if the scenes port over, though ...

Eh, you could just increase their athletics, that's much easier.

They're always mounted anyway....

I was just mentioning that as a side effect. I want everyone to move a bit faster, with lighter armor number.

BTW, a first patch available ... adding new, hidden items from native.

Why do the DarK Knights only have saddle horses?

Edit - oh, do you fix that with this new patch?  I see reinstated horses listed now.

They only have Saddle or Steppe horses for now. I am going to add other horses for them in the future.

There is one bug right now. I copied over an old horse from Chel's horses mod, so you will get the RGL error. Just minimize M&B and click okay. I'll fix that tomorrow.

Hm,
Perhaps I did something wrong but it hangs at installing the .ini and when I task out theres a window saying it cant install the skybox .brf
