Indeed, I love it when a mod works on getting rid of those ole default map UI elements

Hmm, what do you guys think of this:
- Changed compass texture
- Changed button texture
- Added shiny element to town & castle map icons

Q: Is this mod for Warband?
A: No it isn't. It's for Mount&Blade and it won't be ported probably, since we don't have any experience with this.

Hahaha    Good trick, good one! haha, you got me

It certainly looks a lot better. Keep it.

Small Update

Do you still remember the updates about housing & enterprises? Well it was very hard for the player himself if he needs to find the right town with his houses back .

Now it has been changed!! I have added some flags to town map icon.
Here I have rented a house and bought an enterprise:

By the way, will the map texture stay as it is? It sometimes annoys me as the texture often repeats and does not fit the terrain (for example, there is a hill on the terrain, but the texture just has some random unfitting line there) I also think that it would be clearer with the original textures... But on the other hand, this IS original and stuff. Tell me what you think.

Also, I like the new flag system

Well I like this world map so we keep it .
Not hills, not mountains annoy me, but rivers do. They are quite... sharp =\.

Anyway I have no experience with world map editing and Throgrims Map Editor is a horrible program to work with =\.

Thanks for all compliments about the flags !

Let's make that sentence something worth !

Update: "Social Classes!"

* The time of classes is back. First you belong to the freemen class and you can climb up to the nobility class and earn a title.
* 10 classes in total! (freeman, serf, journeyman, peasant, labourer, citizen, bourgeoisie, gentry, aristocrat and nobility)
* 8 titles to earn as nobleman! (Baron, Viscount, Earl, Marquess, Duke, Archduke, Grand Duke and Viceroy)
* 8 special banners for every title you gain. Bear them proudly! Show everyone how mighty you are!
* Social mobility is based on wealth. You need to work, rent/buy houses, set up enterprises, manage villages/castles/towns and gain prestige! If you upgrade, you will also get large amounts of xp.
