It should be the final .800 release. Armagan uploaded it earlier and let me know so I could mirror the file (apparently Karka was checking the expected filename for it and spotted it), but it just isn't announced yet.
So it should be fine, but until Armagan announces it, it isn't officially released.

Had a crayzee CTD thing after exiting the arena in Wercheg I think it was, which I freaking sweet, Just like Janus's custom Arena, with like 3 teams of about 8 or 10 guys. **** it's good.

Hmm.. apparently there are downsides to putting that many skillpoints in the "well crafted, subtle humour" feat..

Heh, my RGL problems were driver related.  I'd rolled back to an early-06 driver, as the latest release killed my video playback, but the new 'new' one is fine.

But holy crap, the framerate.  I'm running in 12x10 (the Doom of LCD monitors), but even with low filtering and no shaders it's jerky as hell even in cities.  My poor old 6600GT didn't have any problems with .751, even with 80+ guys in a battle.  Any ideas?

EDIT - Sub, can you read?  Janus JUST SAID it's the full, proper, v0.800 release.  It's MIRRORED, dude, why would they do that to a pre-release version?

Heh.  I don't doubt that any bugs will be quashed in a 0.801 release.  After all the nagging, now everyone gets to be a big strong Beta Tester instead of clogging up the forums! :)

1. I was in the middle of Zendar when I decided to take out my shield, and BOOM, the screen went black, and I had to ctrl-alt-delete.
This one just happened to me.  After I agreed to the river pirate hunting mission in Zendar and was given the wooden shield.  I tried to switch to it and crashed to desktop with no errors.

Not me, champ.  Look on page five of the 'bet on release date' thread, get the skinny from the man himself.  AND REPORT MORE BUGS ALREADY.

EDIT - when in the Zendar arena, you can couch-lance into the wooden treetrunk walls, and you get dozens of 'Couched Lance Damage' messages on the left.  I was chasing a bowman (who hit one of the sticking-out trunks and stopped suddenly) when I overshot and my lance hit the trees.

I also noticed hitting horses with couched lances now hits them 2-4 times, basically guaranteeing a horse-kill for any charge attack.  I'm not sure if that's intentional.

When weapons hit a surface, a speed bonus shows up on the prompt. So any time you attack a wall, you get a speed bonus.

This also seems to happen to couched lances. In the arena, charge a wall with a lance, and you'll get 7 or so Couched lance damage! messages all in a row. Couched lances also seem to hit horses multiple times. I once managed to hit a horse thrice in the same instant using a couched lance.

Zendar - Right after accepting "River Pirates" quest, tried to equip the shield, black screen, had to ctrl-alt-delete.

Wercheg - Bridge in the middle of the river, just needs moving a tad bit.

Suno - Did the Merchant retire?  If so can I have his shop?  :P (Merchant doesn't spawn).

Rivacheg - Borcha Conversation when he's in the cell is the one when you leave him on the map. "Do you want me to rejoin you?" with the options;

Yes. Follow me. - Even with room in my party he replies with the not enough room in party dialogue.
No. Stay here a while longer.
I want to leave some troops with you. - Selecting this causes a Crash to the Desktop.

Tihr - Armour Merchant doesn't spawn.

Error messages after map battles, arena battles are fine.  Just have to press ignore 2-3 times and then loot screen shows up.


I'll edit my post when I find more.  Oh and this is all done with a new character.


P.S. Nice job on the new version, I'm loving it  :D

Zendar Arena - mounted troops have a habit of getting their horses stuck in the wall.  Funny when watching it happen  :lol:

Praven - Weapon Merchant doesn't spawn.

Ok, Armour, Weapon and Goods Merchants seem to dissapear at random, went to Uxkhal which previously had a Goods Merchant to sell some fish and he seemed to have gone to the loo or something  :P
