NEW: to anyone reading this for the first time - Just got word none of this can go into the mod. I will still release the files but i doubt they'll be much use outside the mount and musket setting.

I've been really excited about MM since I first played it, when it was first released for warband. I love the philosophy and approach to development you guys are taking, and I'd always hoped that the content would improve -- now it's begun. I really like the new content being put in MM:B. Yamabusi's characters are really making this mod shine but there's more to the era than just uniforms.... So I've decided to work on a few little things here and there.
I realise i'm not on the team, and I don't intend to join the team. But I'd like to help out where and when I can. If people have some needs for simple map objects (one of the weak points of this mod imo) I'd be happy to model some of that stuff. If my work isn't what you're looking for then maybe it can be used by people as mods or something. I'm only guessing the requirements in terms of texture size and tricounts, and I'm not prepared to implement any of my work in the engine... I just don't have the spare time to learn that. Expanding my folio while helping a mod i truly believe in however, is very workable. So I will provide the files for my models as they are finished, on a take-it-or-leave-it basis. I hope some of what I make is useful for you guys.

For now, I'm making a charleville 1777 musket. It's 1252 triangles and can be LODed down.

If there are any questions please ask.

some pretty basic progress on a texture for it: Needs some refinement to the wood and steel, but also gotta lay out the brass texture for the various brass fittings.

Mostly done with the materials on this. Need a couple more little details and then i will make 1-2 variant woodgrains.

So, would anyone like to put it in M&M?

So, would someone be game to have a crack at getting it into MM?

Also, i'd really like to help address the scene object issue. MM needs a much better library of those

furthermore, what weapons are a priority apart from this? Baker? Land pattern?

also, refs for sabres and broadswords?

Getting it into MM is rather easy. You just need to replace a musket of your choice with the model/skin. Give me a download link and I can do it.

I think that's all the swords in the game, excluding the infantry butterknives.
