  A message from captain lust:

"Firstly, I think some congratulations are in order for Poland. Warband champions of the world, winning every signle match on the way to the final and sealing the deal in front of 200 viewers . Roughly 80 games were played, by 21 teams and through all that fighting, you have emerged as the clear victors. gg

Also, very well done to France, the runners up, who came third in a tricky starting group but really upped their game and put up a wicked fight, in the final, coming back and matching Poland twice, showing great resolve and spirit. And Turkey, finishing in third after a terrific start.

Every other team also deserves a mention for participating, gathering teams and playing some awesome matches - which is what it's all about.

Thankyou to all the team captains for assembling and managing your teams, everyone who refereed a match, all the clans who lent out their servers to be used for matches, the players (of course ), the supporters who didn't play and the viewers of the stream, my co-commentators for the final, marcus the bookmaker, everyone who provided input or a suggestion, Taleworlds for making the best game ever and lastly (but not least-ly) to my co-organisers Lord Willy and Kittenhuffer. I have thoroughly enjoyed the tournament, as I hope you all have too. As a community, we can look forward now to other competitions such as ENL, K-BOOB, the duel tournaments and all the other fun events people put on.

Enough nonsense. Tournament, done!"

"It has been a great Event , and a great fun , I really hope you all enjoyed it and had a good experience .  I really hope we can continue this Nations Cup Events , because I personally think there isnt anything  that is more fun to Rapresent your own Nation , where the friendship ,  sportmanship and the fun comes first of everything.  And  when I think that before the Cup in some communities  like Poland , Turkey and many others  Warband communities , there were much hostility between players or clans , with the impossibility to create one team , While now i see those  teams  , being groups of  big  friends . So I think this type of Event , not only is a great fun , but also bring people "together" .

Congratulation to team "Poland" , for being undefeated on the Cup and for  gaining a well deserved 1st Place .

Congratulation to team "France" that without all expectation  they did a wonderfull tournament , and arrived  very  close to Win the Cup .

Congatulation to team "Turkey"  that showed that is possible to  make  one team and figting unite for its own country  even with all the problems there were at the start .

Special thanks to Kittenhuffer , that without his support I would had never started this Event .  Special thanks to Captain Lust , that without his "forum skills" , ideas and devoution , the Cup wouldnt had been so great as it has been . Thanks All the referee's ( Pandemona , Zoltanus , DamUCorey ,Arthasan and  Nova ) that contributed a lot on this Cup . Thanks to all the Team Captains that have dedicated  times and devoution to this Event , and lastly thanks to all the Players that have partecipated and rapresented their own nations .

Regards,

Lord Willy"

Wait what, pretty sure I started the whole Nations Cup thing.
I was referring to "this event" as "Nations Cup 2011"  and  not about  the "Nations Cup 2010 ".

But above that you're talking about the Nations Cup events in general

Congratulations Polish friends! And of course all teams, and thank you to Willy and Lusty, and referees. That was hardest tournament than 2010'. See you on the next Nations Cup, and of course on ENL!

@Arch3r
Yeah there is one phrase on where i speak about the peculiarity of an Event like this . But  First  as Nations Cup there i meant Cup of the Nations in general so an Event with the "Nationals Teams", so As the World Cup for football etc  .  Second I think its pretty obvious that even if  i say "I hope we can continue this Nations Cup Events"  that dosent mean i'm saying I started it or whatever .

A bit late, but congratulations (again) to Poland and a big
bow.gif
