Hi All, I got asked to do some art work for Floris so I'm throwing my concepts up here, the menu used is not the menu the graphics will be used for and I don't have permission to tell you what it's for..just yet  Unless Duh wants to?

Comments most welcome!

Me like; off course one can't properly critique it without knowing it's purpose (), but you did a pretty darn good job of making it fit within the existing artstyle.

Thanks mate, Yah I thought I'd let the devs release that info (if they want) But that's the idea I was going for, to fit with the current 'style' it's a hard style to follow unless your great at water color heh

 as I said it's a concept, but yah the dock didnt come out the way I wanted.. this ones better I hope.

In a combined effort taragoth and i created this:

All the options you see there work

Thanks Caba'drin! A major milestone there for myself and Duh, took hours but now we know what to do and how to do it so it will be smooth sailing from here...*

*Pun intended.

Looks awesome...

However I hate to complain lol but the ship used is rather too modern for the time period... But meh who cares it looks awesome

So how will this work? you wander around the coast until you reach a port city? or is this for trading? Or is this just a mystery until 2.5?

i think it is based on the 12th century....

No, it looks nearer the design of of a caravel, circa 1600. Although it does bear similarities with the trade cogs, granted. Personally, I would go more more the viking longship style, or something similar. Not that I'm that fussy, its still a boat -.-
