That looks amazing Vivar! Great job. From the top view it actually looks much smaller compared when you look at these other screenshots.

The time you spended on it definitly payed off.

Yea true. I tried to make the city look large from the players view, with fake house etc. But I couldn't make the scene any bigger, because even I am getting fps lags already. But still, if youre inside as a players it will take some time to visit all the places.
I once tried to make a really large city (Venezia) on almost the full possible size, but with the time it gets annoying to always work at the same scene and see how much work you still got to do. Doing this large scenes is only fun if you do it with some more people, did this once with a friend. Maybe we could even do such a project in this thread here some time.

Hello,
just finished my a new scene. It's probably my most beauthiful, but also the one that took the most time after my rebuilt of Venezia.
It's a small city with castle and barracks in a valley. I made it for the multiplayer, but it can also be used for the singleplayer as a quest or something like that. I put the download, terrain code and the OSPs I used below, because I wont release my module anyway and I am happy if the scene is getting used somewhere.

Absolutely double that. I can't decide if I wan't to use words 'Bannerlord' or 'wallpaper' in my praises.

But Vivar has raised an important question. While making Sisterton I was also pondering on the efficiency of spending my time, I mean, was it really worth devoting a scene two months when you have dozens of scenes to make.

This makes me think about the guy who recreates Westeros in Minecraft:

Though that guy does a lot, he usually has a team of people(5-7) working on as many as 3-5 cities at one time.

So... why is there a sword in the fire? (I've never played any Dark Souls, so perhaps there is a purpose to a sword stuck in there?)

That's a recognizable feature of the franchise - a sword in burning kindling. It refers to, erm... burning endeavour of... utmost strife... for all I know.

By the way, Dark Souls series features incredible level design:

I wasnt sure whether to post this in the Q&A thread but seeing as its related to scenes ill post here.

I either have something very weird happening or im just being dumb!

Ive added new scenes to my scenes folder, ive then added the correct data into module_scenes. Though upon starting a new game the old scenes still remain?! Im not sure how because they have been deleted from the module! Are they stored in a cache somewhere i dont know about? I have no idea what im doing wrong.

This has happened before, i changed a scene, then for some reason a few weeks later it changed back to the old scene, even though that scene file had been deleted for weeks?!? Im sure this things trying to drive me crazy!

Anyone else had problems with this?

Hey,
I've got a question (You never thought anything like that would happen, right?  )
How can I place spr probs, like rhodok walls, towers or swadian houses and so on using the edit mode in Napoleonic Wars? I can't find these probs in the list of placeable objects.  I wanted to build a medieval city with castle for Multiplayer in Napoleonic Wars (normally I just build "normal" landscape or Napoleonic Wars Forts), but without these probs it's a bit.... impossible.
So, is anyone here who can tell me how to place spr probs?

Hoping for answers
Ted

Well, if you can't find these props, then they probably don't exist - it's entirely possible (and possibly reasonable) to assume that if NW doesn't use them anywhere, they are likely to have been deleted from module_scene_props in order not to clutter the list or for faster loading or for whatever reason. Maybe I'm lying to you, but I've really got no idea. Just speculating.

If anyone is interested in making maps for the competitive Native scene, here's a thread that may interest you: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,303051.msg7188635.html#msg7188635

I'll probably post some screens of my work later in exchange for this blatant advertisement.

This is a very early work in progress of what I'm about to do there. The present flat side will slowly elevate up to a pretty high point, which will begin from the town itself and it will end on the other side on the map. That will make the terrain look very natural. Down there on the beach it will have a flourishing port too. During sieges, the port will be emptier and you'll be able to see ships in the sea (simulating a blockade). Because this is a port town, the assaults will begin on land, as opposed to the beach assaults which I made for the other two maps.

@Bowman-Cliffs more jagged would be better. atleast the rocky part that rifts in to the sea.

Ehm.. meanwhile in the WIP department: (want to release some maps for modders who lack castles, Was recently playing Cozur's AOK and saw a lot of repeated scenes so yeah why not. Mods( PL. AL-M. Butress pack.))
