This is the AAR of the longest siege I had played ( over three lifetime hours), wich I'm trying to turn into an epic story. Each chapter will present the battle seen trought the eyes of one of the major actors during the siege. So, enjoy!

Chapter 1 : A mighty warrior.

" Don't let them get even a single step further!"

Emir Azadun was desperatly trying to reorganize what was left of the first infantry unit, wich had already taken much damage and was at the verge of colapsing. The proud Emir and his most trusted compagnons, Wassim and Farès, charged again, breaking, crushing, cutting and killing. Somehow, they managed to put fear in the khergits soldiers who broke down and ran away... Emir Azadun ordered his two faithfull Guards to hold the position, then turned arround, just to find out that Narra had turned into a living hell...

The residential area and the market-place were burning while the sarranid garrison was desperatly trying to slow down the khergit invaders. And while he and what was left of his mighty infantry unit were trying to stop the attackers from taking the east walls, Emir Dhiyul's army was having a hard time fighting the Khan's personal army at the south front, whereas Emir Reamald and his Nord company were putting on quiet the good fight at the north gate, even tought they were begining to show signs of tiredness. He was actually too far away from the west district to know what was happening there, but since most of it was burning, he assumed that the situation was just as bad there.

"And here I have only two men left to try and hold back Ulusamai Noyan men..."

Azadun turned around, took his gigantic Two handed sabre and went back to his position, the khergits were coming again. Twenty Elite horse archers lead by Ulusamai Noyan himself...

"Chaaaaarge!"

Emir Azadun's scream of rage covered the whole noise, the mighty men lead his exhausted unit for a final, suicide attack. He slashed right trought his first enemy's torso, cutting him in half. He didn't even take the time to make sure about his other men following him and charged right throught the enemy lines, two other enemys fell before him with just as much ease, and then he had to face the only one worthy of fighting him...

"Ulusamai Noyan."

"Emir Azadun."

Without a single word; the two lords clashed swords. And if anyone would have found it quiet disrespectful to attack a former friend in such a crude manner, just a single sight of theire satisfied faces would make him find out that the rude sounds of the deadly metal clashing was in fact the only way for the two, once brothers in arms, to express their deep respect and affection to each other. Every clash, every hit and every drop of blood they had lost made them remember the good old times, times of peace beetwen the Sarranid Sultanate and the Khergit Khanat, in wich Noyans and Emirs shared laughs and tears. Because yes there was such a time... before Sanjar's  ascension to the Khergit throne.

Ever since then, good old friends became archenemys, fighting to satisfy the greed of a crazy men who seemed to have vowed Calradia's downfall. Still, none of them could question His leader's orders, and the fierce fight carried on...

Thanks for the remark, I will make sure to avoid such errors from now onwards. The fact is that English is not my monther tongue, so, it's actually hard not to make mistakes.

Chapter 2 : Welcome into Hell!

" Stop right there! "

An arrow passed a few millimeters before the soldier's head. He had just enough time to raise his shield before a volley of arrows forced him to make a strategic retreat, taking cover in the safety of a wall. He saw, powerlessly, his opponents runing away, taking with them the uncounscious body of their lord.

Ulusamai Noyan had just saved his life, although everyone realized that this was definitely not his primary objective. His Lord just wanted him to forego his old friend, something that anyone would have done.

Anyways, Ulusamai Noyan and his men found themselves in a most dangerous situation. They had managed to beat the remnants of emir Azadun unit, finally occupying the eastern wall, but here they found themselves under continuous fire from what seemed to be an elite unit of archers, who came in reinforcement at the last minute to cover the escape of the last soldiers and the fallen Emir.

"Retreat!"

Ulusamai Noyan had to order a retreat, leaving the hardly-won walls to preserve his men from a losing battle. Indeed, the Khergits were excellent archers by birth, but even the best archers in the world would fall facing an invisible enemy. And however was confronting them had surely realized that fact, as he took advantage of the darkness to hide from view.

Thus, the elite unit of Ulusamai Noyan withdrew slowly and surely from the East wall, joining the camp of the besiegers. They ordered the imediate dispatch of an infantry unit to retrieve the walls before the arrival of sarranid reinforcements . It was time for Ulusamai Noyan to count their losses.

Of the twenty original members who had joined the attack, only ten of them left it unharmed. Emir Azadun and his two brilliant soldiers managed again to prove their worth in battle, killing six of the most renowned warriors and seriously injuring three others. Ulusamai Noyan himself was not longer able to fight, as his friend had messed him up so much during their confrontation. Overall, Ulusamai Noyan had lost over a third of his men so as to take control of the walls for ... two minutes.

The Khergit lord joined the field hospital to receive first aid. His personal doctor and his staff took off the heavy armor and began treating the multiple injuries that their master had undergone, while the latter called to mind the memorable duel that "Lion of the desert" just offered him.

Emir Azadun charged him with an unusual fury, blades of the two warriors met again and again into a shrill noise, while  the two of them were taken by a diabolical frenzy, as they were chaining attacks and parries in the divine dance of war. But while the Noyan still had all his freshness and vigor, Emir Azadun was on the very brink of unconsciousness and every step, every slash, every stroke pushed him to his very limits. Ulusamai Noyan attempted a sharp blow, directed towards the right shoulder of his opponent, who by a clever parry, managed to avoid the terrible blow and tried to enjoy the surprise of the Lord Khergit to put him out of harm's way by a clever stroke in the neck. Emir Azadun had won the duel, or rather, that was what should have happened, since he lost consciousness before the blade reached its final destination ... The "Lion" had lost, not against the valiant warrior who came to offer him a delicious fight, but against the fatigue of a protracted battle.

" My lord!" said a messenger as he entered the tent

" What is it?"

"Urubay Noyan forces have been annihilated!"

"Impossible! " They have more than two hundred men, and reports says that the west district is the least protected "

"The reports were true my lord, the fact is that ..."

The messenger coudln't finish his sentence, as he was too terrorized by the shouts of what appeared to be members of the infantry unit supposed to hold the walls.

"They are devils!"

Ulusamai Noyan immediately left the tent, mounted his trusty steed and set off at full speed towards the walls... Over three quarters of the men he had sent were dead, as they got killed at the bottom of the ladder, each by a single arrow. As he looked up the wall, Ulusamai Noyan got to see the impressive silhouette of the men responsible for all this carnage. A warrior in plate armor, wearing a winged helmet wich two "horns" looked as if they were about to devour the crimson moon itself, while the blaze behind him gave this awful landscape a semblant of hell.

" What the hell..."
