Improved Smoke Effects Patch for M&M Russia (Edit: FIXED! Compatible w/russia3)

Updated to be fully compatible with mm russia3!

When you hit someone instead of blood spray you see a spray of green slime :razz: (colour of blood is change to untextured Green)
 
Ah, still? That's odd... Either I didn't reupload it to M&B File Repository correctly, or I edited the wrong file.

I'll fix it and post back here once I've made sure it works correctly.
 
To fix this yourself until Hibiki gets a fix here:

Go into particle_systems.txt

Search for psys_pan_smoke

You should see this:

It looks great in MM. Using an axe on tweak 5 is very satisfying...  :twisted:

It could just be that your computer is bad at handling particles in general - I've noticed a massive performance improvement.
 
Nope my computer is fairly good i never had problems the last time.

Wired i removed your particle systems and replaced with original still get the green blood class battle thing?

The green blood is likely a problem with your graphics card - there's no glitch regarding green blood in the patch.
Try installing the blood mod I linked, and see if that fixes it.
 
After I put this in, all musket hits on bodies show up as exploding bottles. I'm sure this is not related to the Smoke Effects, but can someone tell me why it is doing that?

Since most people have this problem after installing this smoke patch i don't think its my graphics card...

For those of you getting green blood:
Try using the tweak above to the particle_systems file for the green blood. If this is a problem with the smoke mod, it should fix it. It also fixes the vodka bottle bullets. If it does not work, then try using the blood tweak I posted.
Here's how to install the blood tweak on top of the smoke:

Go into the particle_systems.txt file you just downloaded (the blood mod), copy down the 3rd and 4th particle systems. They should be titled psys_game_blood and psys_game_blood_2.

Go to your old particle_systems.txt file (the smoke patch), delete the 3rd and 4th particle systems, and paste the two you copied in their place.
 
Alright, I reuploaded.  Apparently, I didn't upload the new file correctly.  I've tested it myself, and it works now.
