Yeah known minor issue. Uploader forgot to rename the folder. The correct folder was uploaded though so no worries.

About your other issues, did you install some kind of patch/fix or some other submod over your mod installation?

Ya responded before I had a chance to say I fixed it myself. Uninstalled the mod and M&B warband itself and did a re install and it worked fine. although with some unexpected frame rate issues which im working on tweaking settings and such atm. Not really sure why any of that worked since it was bascily a clean install to begin with. I guess it didnt like diplomacy (the last mod i was playing with) having its own space in the modules folder.

But to answer your question, no other patches or submods, just vanilla Warbands and Floris extended. I am using the latest steam version of Warband 1.160 I thought that might of been the problem at the time but it works now so i guess that isn't it.
 
Hello, isthis mod pack still in development or 2.55 is its last release?

I've read most of the sticky topic but I guess I missed it, sorry if this this is mentioned somewhere.
 
The dev team is not officially working on this mod anymore but updates may be released particularly to fix bugs (2.55 was released just to fix a few bad bugs with 2.54, which was supposed to be the "last" version, for example).

Are you currently involved in a rebellion, or the ruler of your own faction? Those options don't show up unless you are.

Ah in that case he likes his current liege too much. One way to remedy that is to go to war with their faction, and kick their asses hard. Defeats pile up to add discontent in the faction. You can also play politics but that takes a long time and is not guaranteed.

Good day everyone, can somebody give me a hint please, about whats happening with my save game.
Sometimes when manhunters battle with outlaws, and i rush to help them (hunters) after combat relation deteriorates to abnormal numbers, like +25 to -2456, when in fact it should increase, not decrease. It happened few times, i just reloaded and skipped that battle. Because everytime i helped them my relationship kept deteriorating...
Almost same, but weirder thing happened. I took an escort caravan quest. Caravan behind me got suddenly attacked by bandits, i rushed to help them, but after combat it said "Relationship with commoners deteriorated from 0 to -2", and then the funny thing started, caravan followed me because he was still on a quest with me, but at the same time he was running away from me, when he kept getting closer to me. Nevertheless i somehow managed to escort that caravan to its destination, but then i started noticing that all village elders removed an option to give me quests. :sad: and i dont have an earlier save.
Does anyone know anything about something like this? or is this fixable or something?
 
This is probably a dumb question, but is the stat modifier on item quality seperate from the base stat on the items? I mean, if a rusty helmet gives 20 head armor and the blue text says -2, does that make it give -18 head armor or did the difference already apply on the base stat?

It's a little confusing.

It's one of those long corruption bugs that happens over time sometimes. The only way I know how to fix it is to roll back to a time before you had that bug. Unfortunately since you don't have an earlier save (take this as a lesson), there may not be a way to fix it.

I don't know what causes it, but it's likely the script bugged out at some point and saved its buggy calculations into your save.

Stat modifiers are applied to the displayed item stats already. Rusty is -3 btw. So if you see two of the same helmet in a shop, and one is rusty, if the normal one has 20 head armor then the rusty one has 17.

Shortly, my problem is as follows - i can't attack bandits any more. When i engage in a dialogue with bandits, there are only two options - "Change Commander" and "Leave" (tried changing commander to every party member). Maybe it has to do with the fact that my standing with bandit faction has become positive?

I can attack deserteers in case anyone would be wondering.
 
Yeah it's definitely because of that. It works that way with any faction. Deserters do not fall under the bandit faction, having their own neutral faction that you can't increase relation with (but ironically is always on good terms with the bandit faction).

To lower your relation again, try joining battles with your allies (allied farmers and caravans especially) against them. It might take a while to find such battles going on, but as long as you don't increase your relation with the bandits by helping them against your other enemies, it'll eventually go back down.

Would that really work? National faction standings doesn't seem to lower towards me when i join another faction in a battle against them - the only standing change seems to be the increase of a faction standing which i help in that battle.
 
There's calculations for it, but yeah it'll work. Relation goes up faster when you help a severely losing group against a larger group as far as I can tell. Try siding with bandits against enemy lords. It'll likely be faster.
 
Hi all!

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered (I had a bit of a dig but couldn't find it anywhere).

I'm playing the Steam version of B&W:W on Mac (build 626260, v1.160) and would love to try this mod out. I downloaded the .7z package and copied the files into the Modules folder and then tried to boot up the game first with Gameplay and then Basic. Both times the games didn't load (I killed it after around 10 mins on the  steam 'preparing to launch' dialog). Is there anything I can do to make it work? I read somewhere that graphics mods don't really work cross platform, is there a way to modify the package to remove them? I also saw something that said Steam might through a hissy if you don't enable cheats for the game, but I haven't found how to do that.

Hi Guys

Recently installed Warband and Floris again since its awesome.

Anyway just a random issue, don't really know if its a bug or anything. But basically a Sarrind lord I was trying to impress (so I could build in his town) asked me if he could borrow Floris from my party, I was like ok cause I have done it many times with the other companions.

Anyway had the quest show up in the log and everything, I knew that eventually Floris would return to me. However after ages, I got the red "quest failed" message in regards to Floris, and I haven't been able to find him since, he never returned, he is never in any taverns, and even the travelers don't know where he is (not appearing in their list of lost companions).

Any ideas?

Is there a way to reset Floris or something? Would love to have him back.
 
So I've always gotten the "RGL error: Error on creating shaders: Out of video memory" in the past. To reduce it I turned down my settings, replaced sounds.txt with the Native version (advice from mod dev) and I saw the error less often but never entirely eliminated.

My most recent saved game is getting this error along with extreme loading times almost every single time I enter or leave a battle, making the game pretty much unplayable at this point. I don't need any advice on how to reduce the video settings, increase my virtual memory (already maxed) because I recently found out through the rgl_log that warband is only using 1gb of my 4gb of RAM, and I can't seem to fix this.

I've visited multiple threads about compatibility issues and I've done every fix found in these. Steam is not running in compatibility mode, Warband is not running in compatibility mode. I've tried running Warband in Windows 7 compatibility mode, same results.

I could probably revert back to DirectX 7 and turn all of my settings to the absolute minimum, but what I really need is to find a way to get rid of this stupid limit on the available RAM, which is obviously the root problem.

Looks exactly like a steam compatability mode issue. To make entirely sure that that is not the case, you could download the game from taleworlds.com and see if the issue persists (it will run entirely without steam).

Any idea on this oddity? I know other games have consol commands to "call"/"reset" NPC characters, does Warband have something similar so I can get Floris back.
 
Hello!
Whenever i finish a fight with a bandit leader my game crashes. It is really annoying to not be able to defeat them. Any help is appreciated.
