This was a normal day for Tharmor, crossing the New Zendar bridge after making 220,000 gold pieces. He entered the tavern, and like the Village Idiot he is he drained the entire supply of ale. He was on his way back, when he slipped off the bridge and fell to the river bed. A warning that the screenshot contains rage language.

Once I nearly got run down by a straying plated charger. Soon I found the cause of this rare encounter.

First thing I said when I saw the new cows was that they freak me out.

And soon after my suspicions turned out to be correct!

How it started: I first became suspicious when I found a pack of these creatures, desperately trying to hide from the sun's rays...

Dusk, the same day. First sighting of a demonic cow...

Proof that they hunt in packs...

The smarter ones pose as real cows to trick and capture unsuspecting farmers, whom they then drag back to their lairs...

I say we take up arms against these vile creatures and kill as many as we can, before they can overrun another farmstead and breed!
I've set the right example and charged in to slay one. WARNING: Even in death the Demon Cow is still very dangerous. Do not look into his eyes for long or he will steal your soul...


Also, I would like to patent this please;

I must admit that it was not really invented by me but I doubt the ones who did are in any position to object, as can be seen in the picture.

Your images and captions made me chuckle... but also realise that I somehow left the eye submesh using the wrong shader, a very simple version that doesn't account for ambient light in the scene. That will be fixed in the next version, though part of the "demonic" look might come from the LOD meshes not fitting together perfectly - the model is too detailed to go without them, and I don't really have the time to make anything better than the ones generated with OpenBrf.
