Just a few, give you the basics - learned from those.

There should actually be a sticky topic with guidelines for people who would like to make a map for PW. Props they are supposed to add, where the spawn points should be and how many, limit on certain buildings, items, castles, what the minimum props and items for each castle should be and so on.

Which props not to add because they are buggy and cause crashes and not implemented yet. When you start warband run native or PWMOD when making a map for PW?

When making a map from scratch for PW which scene do you load? or is there a template scene? Is the map for deathmatch or what gametype?

what should the file be named?

scn_multi_scene_1.sco
(You can rename this file then edit when you host a server to create a new blank sco file)
You have to load up the Oceanic Warband map when you host your own server after you did the last step and you should have an empty landscape.

Edit: Added full instructions.

So full instructions:
Go to the scene objects folder, find scn_multi_scene_1.sco and rename it to scn_multi_scene_1.sco.old, then load up the game in edit mode, host a server with the Original PWMod map (Oceanic Warband) and you should get a blank landscape, edit it then save and it will create a new scn_multi_scene_1.sco - this is your custom map.
