hey I know im a bit late to the party this was released a long time ago and the thread seems inactive but i need help. I cant get it to install could some one walk me through it please?

also if i have diplomacy 4.3 is there a way to just get the extra companions?
 
could there be a version with the newest version of diplomacy? and could you split the units and companions? i like the companions, but i want the 'easy' native tree....
oh, and could the 'cheaper' lords and the marshal lord use the title changer, so they get the same title(i like them having all the same title)
 
if you want you could just merge the source files (given at the bottom of the first post)

just download the newest diplomacy, edit 3 or 4 of the source files to add the companions, their dialogues and their caracteristics)

i have started to make a mod for myself. i love warband but i think the gameplay need some changes and additions:

- added bodyguards
- "realistic" blood
- always choose side when joining battles (you can be evil)
- hold position when battle starts [instead charge]
- calradia bank
- export/import npcs
- added the 10 quick game heros into calradia's land!

- swadia has now a queen [(party-)king harlaus is dead]
- knudarr castle -> jarl knudarr / etrosq castle -> count etrosq ... [castles belongs the right family]

- rhodok sharpshooters uses arbalests
- desert bandits and sarranid horsemen with camels or horses
- new troops: mercenary archer / mercenary spearsman
- masterwork morningstar :smile:

- ammo for ranged weapons +4 [to make throwing skill something worth]
- bandit party size up to 100
- cattle follow player
- hero escape after defeat chance = 60
- tournament bet amount x5
- prisoner management -> 10/skillpoint [(instead 5) to make it something worth]
- building time 1/3 faster [make buildings something worth]

- diplomacy mod v4.2
- arena mod by adorno
- 50 new companions by malik
- better banners by markquinn
- 24 new armoured horses by wanderer949
- 6 Historic Castles by adorno
- ImprovedMaleFaces 1.1 by Iboltax

Would it be possible to merge Floris with Lots of Companions? Also, does anyone know of a separate script that allows recruiting in taverns? After having that for my empire, I doubt I can go back to the vanilla system, lol. I realize this is a very old thread, but better to necro a thread than create a new one. Someone else may have been thinking the same thing.
 
Eh hem.

So, I've been absent, mainly because I lost interest in M&B, and also being busy with real life stuff. Like a job. Having a job is a lot of work. Also being unemployed is alot of work.

But now I have a job again, and I saw a sale for all the M&B stuff on steam, bought it, played it a bit and said "God I really miss my mod, the one I made to change the game to fit my desires for it." It's a good thing i was smart and posted a backup of my source files on the Repository, because with only a little bit of work copying and pasting the old 1.13 version to the new 1.158 and then getting a bit of help wondering why my Build_module.bat wasn't working, I was able to get it exported with no "major" errors and I tested it and it SEEMS to work.

So, Huzzah!

Lots of New Companions rises from the grave! only to stumble into another open grave.

(I offer no guarantees of any further development on the mod, don't expect any and you won't be disapointed when they never come, or be overjoyed when they do and you weren't expecting them. DON'T EXPECT THEM, I'm very flaky and busy with work these days, it's hard to get the creative drive to do real work after my real 9 hour job of doing real work).

I'm trying to see how much interest there is in me finishing this mod and getting it updated properly.
I have a lot of free time during the day, and I may actually be able to finish what I originally set out to do, as well as clean this up so it's less buggy and more presentable.

The options are what they are because if I include a no option people will probably just troll it.

I dunno how big the SP M&BW community is anymore so... *shrug*

This mainly came up because I've been playing M&BW again recently. And I read through Edgardo's introduction dialog and was just really impressed with what I had done 4 years ago, and I wanna do it again.
 
Hey nice mod is it easy to merge this mod with Sword of damocles warlords?
And if so could someone explain to me how to do that?

So i've been going over what I have, and upgrading the mod to warband 1.166, I've also been playing it a bit to think about what I want to change, so here's a rough list that isn't finalized of what i've discovered so far:

If you guys have any feedback on the key points, or reasonable requests i'd appreciate them.
In no particular order:
1. Update Knightly Orders in party_templates and scripts to not use old idea references. Teutonic > leopard.
2. Update forum thread with working pictures of characters, and general cleanup.
3. Look at original faction troop trees and decide if they need expansion.
4. Adjust player faction troop tree.
5. Prepare source files for implementation better. Improve #malik tags to describe what they include. Create implementaion documentation.
6. Tag strings properly for who say's what, actually alot of work having to go line by line, because they all say klethi currently.
7. Make 2 more companions for an even 80. Because it will make a better mod title. Probably 2 females because males outnumber females.
8. Make Ironflesh skill give .5 head, 1 body and .5 leg armor per level

So more updates for anyone who cares, the mod is now ported over to 1.166, and is bug free as far as I can tell. I've solved the bug the was generating those huge "Npcvillageupdate" errors, and also fixed the cause of the dialog getting being messed up, at least I believe so. I'll have to play some more and talk to the people to make sure their dialog is correct now.

Next I'll try and get this "working" version up on the Nexus, and i'm also exploring how to get it in to the Steam Workshop.
