How did you add spells? I mean the visual.

Because in the Turkish Forum, we are making(although just Diabelica) a mod about Dragonlance.

Hey Everyone


I can assure you, the beta is definetly worth waiting for. Yoshi has shown his fair share of creativity and skills when it comes to making a mod, thats really worth playing.

The weeks off-time for Yoshi should mean a very large brainstorming which in the end is good for all of us.

So: Keep the spirits up and keep posting suggestions/questions and stuff :)

cant there be two versions of the mod one with and one without magic i dont like magic but still the mod will be very fun to play has a world of warcraft thing with the dungeons and stuff cant wait till release

I really don't hope that's how you actually speak, because then you would never breathe.

Anyway, I don't see why you wouldn't want the magic - with this type of early version it would just be a "bow" with a book model and a fancy looking arrow, quite literally. Maybe with splash damage, I don't know the capabilities of this engine.

I'd just like to say that spell effects are -very- nice, alot of them you wouldn't even think possible. I haven't taken many pictures of the plethora of spells, but the ones I have taken don't truly do the spells justice.

PS: Splash damage is in.

i just dont like magic i prefer realism but fantasy can be good to except for magic cos magic fucks up games like world of warcraft or dungeons and dragons its always overpowered

to be fair, you can't judge that magic will fuck up RPGmod because you have not played it yet. If you dont like it, then don't play it. But i can tell you now. Magic isn't just like having a fancy bow, it does add another element to M&B.

well i didnt ment it that way in my opinion magic fucks up alot of games cos its most of the time overpowered ofcourse i'm gonna try rpgmod its just that i dont like magic i prefer cold steel

Here's my small suggestion (which already might have been suggested). When I saw that screenshot of map and there was place called "home" it gave me an idea. Could player possibly have own farm? When player starts it's nothing but a small abandoned farm. Player decides to renovate it. In the beginning its just a small farm that hardly produces anything. But when time passes by it starts to grow (determined by some quests or players influence). Eventually player can even hire workers to work at the farm. Player also needs to manage the defence of his/hers farm.

After hard work the farm would nearly become even a small town, which player owns. Player could grown all kinds of plants and also raise animals (of all kind). When animals have grown and crops collected player could sell them.

I think it really would be a nice sort of management minigame. Please tell me Yoshi what you think. Thanks again and take care with the best mod!!

There will probably be a full release somewhere nearer christmas.

That sounds good, i was thinking of something similar a while back and it might be included! Probably wont be a massive part of the game but still a nice mini-game/quest.
