Sufficient feast!
« on: May 26, 2010, 06:22:12 PM »
Hello,
How do I get a magnificent variety of food on a feast. All I can get is bountiful variety and sufficient feast.

My Oil & Spice is 1 each and that is magnificent.
My drinks is 3*Wine + 3*Ale and that is magnificent.

My food is the one I am having problem with.

I have
Bread * 3
Dried Meat * 3
Grain * 3
Cabbage * 3
Fruit * 3
Fish *3
Honey * 3

Cheese * 4
Sausages * 3
Olive * 6
Grapes * 6
Dates *  6 (Not sure if it can be eaten or not)

What am I missing. I can only get bountiful of variety on food and my feast becomes sufficient. Is it pork/swine? Where do I get that without raiding towns.

Thanks

Note that the amount of portions in every food is not 50.

You need like five grapes (10) for every dried meat, fish, grain, whatever or so. Not sure how high you'll get that way but it helps.

If You want to add more food, you will need to loot some village in order to get CHICKEN and PORK. (then ride fast to your wife and give them to her, or both will get spoiled)

You will also need: Spices, Oil, Ale and Wine.

Tried it with 10 grapes & 10 olives and even dates. I don't think you can get it up to magnificent feast. I mean everything is magnificent but the outcome is still sufficient feast. I believe it might be the top result.

Looting to get Chicken & Pork. I am a bloody KING who does his own shopping. Why can't the missus do it. Damn silly really, it should just cost you a fortune and let someone else do the work.

I agree with You, but since the game does not support sending someone to tho those things (BUG), You, the King must do it Yourself.

Also, they forgot to make chicken and pork tradable, as for ale and wine, they are also morale booasters, at least in real life.

Ale and wine moral boosters also its one of the best ways to incapacitate your troops on an active campaign.

you wanna know what i do ... i got all things sufficient and magnificent, believe it or not!

what i did is put everything your wife (if you are male character) listing and put it in your household possession only 1 for each item. why dont you try it? it works for me... and i always got 77 renown (which gives me 3 slot capacity)

it works for me :)
