What is it about
In the Nations Cup every country, or neighboring group of countries is represented by one (1) Nations Cup team. This team is lead by an appointed captain, which will recruit skilled and expierenced players for the team. This captain is not likely to be a clan leader, to avoid having a country represented by one clan only. The teams will fight eachother in a tournament, using a knock-out system. Losers fight losers, and winners fight winners. Therefor we need 2x teams.

The rules
The rules are strict and all server settings will be the same. Maps and factions aren't chosen by the teams but are determined by the round. Battles are 8v8 (subject to change).
2 Maps are played, with a total of 4 matches. A match consists of 5 rounds on the same faction for each team. After 5 rounds, a team takes the other teams faction and spawn point.
Server settings:
Manual Block
Friendly fire: ranged and melee (75% Friend)
Combat speed: normal
No bots on either team (obviously)
Standard round timer (300 seconds)
Maxed out map time, due to 5 round switching.

Each country can have only one team, but a team can have multiple countries, in case they don't have 10 people (2 reserves). These countries should be close or neighboring. For example the Netherlands and Belgium, Portugal and Spain, Austria and Swiss (and germany even, possibly as they all speak german). The US also is one country and could team up with canadians if the canadians can't field 10 themselves.

Every team fights all other teams once. The team that won the most matches got the 1st places, and so on.
Taking Round 1 as an example:

this means that the first played map is Field by the River, where Team 1 (and Team 3) start as Rhodoks, than switch to Swadia. Team 2 (and Team 4) start as Swadians and switch, after 5 rounds, to Rhodoks. The Map is reset after the 5 Rounds, to reset all money.
The second played map is Village where Team 1 (and Team 3) starts as Vaegirs as defenders (spawn no. 1) and Team 2 (and Team 4) start as Nords. After 5 rounds this is switched, the map gets reset and Team 2 plays Vaegirs as defender.
The winner of Team 1 v Team 2 fights the winner of Team 3 v Team 4.
The losers fight the losers.
The Teams that oppose each other have 2 weeks to arrange a suitable date. Every second Sunday opposing teams are announced. Than the 2 week deadline starts. If the Teams can't arrange the deadline before the next sundays 23.59GMT deadline, than the playing date is Sunday, the day of the deadline 20 GMT. The Team that can't make it, loses.
Teams and recruiting
Recruiting is up to the team captain. We'd prefer the captain not to take players all from one clan, but spread out and search for skilled players. Captains are yet to be decided as well as countries. Please contact fellow country men and form teams.

Fame and glory and something else to be decided later.
