Problem with crossbow staffweapon

I decided to add a staff that shoots crossbow bolts in M&B but when I go to shoot the staff, it doesnt shoot, it just keeps reloading itself everytime I click the mouse button.  Has anyone ever had this problem or know how solve it? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you have to make sure that the crossbow weapon has a firing animation assigned to it. If your using UE i would imagine you just tick the correct box down the side and if your using python add the animation tag: itcf_shoot_crossbow

I forgot to add a quantity number to the item and thats why it wouldnt fire.  It took me about a hour to find that and it was right in front of me.   It seems like its always the little stuff that i forget to add.  Thanks for the help Yoshiboy.

anyways why shoot a staff, shoot out rock. Imagine that scene, fighting against Swadia and all you see is rocks flying at your troops.
