Horses on loot screen?

Yes.  That's what got this derailment of this thread started (my apologies to the original OP).  I 'assumed' that chests no longer work, and one must get married to get additional storage (and posted that earlier).  Another poster hints you can still store in your Town/Castle chests, just waiting for confirmation on either side of the discussion.

Edit:  And another derailment of this thread (I know, I'm so bad).  Anyone who's done Feasts.  Have you noticed minuscule amounts of food/beverage/oil/spice being used for your Feasts?  As in, one or two out of the first of each item?  I held my first Feast, 17 lords and 4 ladies showed up, and I had stuffed her inventory with food and such (from her dialog, I had assumed they'd eat everything in her inventory).
 
Storage chests are available in catles and towns in warband, the following will prove my point.

Thank you.  I picked up Ichamur and it's storage chest is working properly, yet I still can't access the chest in Wercheg (for anyone who owns this Town in Warband, it's behind the main table - to the left)?

It's possible it's a bug for that particular Town.  I have searched all thru that hall (and upstairs too) and no other chests are showing (tho granted, that hall is on the dark side).

A tweak to 1.105 to put horses back in loot - I've tested it and it works in an existing game. Open scripts.txt in modules\native and find the section party_calculate_loot. Don't forget to back up your scripts.txt before making the change, just in case.

You need to change the 93 to 87, and remove entirely the red highlighted part. So it should look like

As in, the code that it changes?

There's a loop near the bottom of the party_calculate_loot script whose sole purpose is to look through the proposed loot items and remove anything which looks like a horse. Commenting that loop out is all that is required for horses to once more appear in loot.
 
great tweak thanks.. now if i could just get the one to make bandits all join together id be set, cause i have this spot near rivecherg that has like 20 frickin sea raiders all the time, that come at me one by one, in groups of 5-50 and its so annoying... tried using the script changes from normal M&B but couldn't get them to work hehe.

Drock >> I once made whole bunch of sea rider groups to follow me than navigate them in to allied lord. Once they all joined battle with him I engaged as well. Gave me some nice relation boost with him as well once battle was over. It does not work always however, sometimes lords will not engage bandits at all.
 
Sirinan, you are magnificent. Thankyou, I can now enjoy more sensible loot from steppe bandits et alia and use the horses to give to my companions rather than having to fork out money buying new ones every single time. You rock, matey.

Yeah, I was having trouble understanding the reasoning for it, but it was clearly deliberate whatever that reason was. At least it was easy to fix.

thanks mate just tweaked it and it does still work as my new swaybacked charger can attest too :wink: thank you swadia!
 
interesting, I tried to do this tweak and now I get 0 loot (loot screen does not pop up) and it also doesnt give me any notifications (you party gained 2 morale... your troops are ready to upgrade... troop x has killed troop y)


Anyone else get this?
