I have an error using the warband version...M&B one works fine.....error says using the debugger u posted earlier, that the rgl_config. txt could not be located......any help would be welcome...thx.....

yes i have and play other mods as well

also when installing it says that it cannot fijnd install directory and to make sure it is correct upon further installation
 
Are you sure you've run Warband and gone at least into the main game screen, past the initial window?

If so, please post a screenshot of the error.
 
I have a question about this Mod. If I changed the battle size to 250, does that mean all of my 250 units will appear in the beginning of the battle? or 250 as a total of both my army + my rival army together?

So what do you do when it gives you the completion box, and then doesn't actually change anything?


It worked a month ago, and nothing has changed.
 
Didn't work.

I know not to have Warband open when I change it. The weird thing is it worked perfectly fine a while ago, and I haven't changed anything.
 
yah I'm confused about it too... regardless I left it on default at 150, or changed to 300 with the tweaker, I still only start out on battle field with 125 of my men out of 300 each battle.

The battle size is that of all units on the field, so 300 battle size would result in max 150 vs 150 if you had the same army sizes and tactics levels.
 
Upon using this mod, it's broken my game (steam version).  I installed it for the 1257 AD mod, put the battle size to 300, ran the mod and started an assault on a siege.  All is fine and well until the end of the battle.  Every time it crashes with this from the log report:

ERROR: Error on creating shaders: Out of video memory!

I did not get this error prior to using this mod, and on the very first battle after using it I do, so I'm absolutely certain it is the cause.  I have deleted the mod and config to reset all the values, and I still get the same crash.  What are all of the files it adjusts?

Just adjust the actual battle size in the in-game options to something lower.

I put it back to 150 which is what it was at before I installed the mod and still get errors.  I set it at 100 and 75 also, same thing.  I did a verify files check through steam and the errors are gone now.  I have manually edited the file to give me around 300 without crashing.

Then it's nothing to do with this. The only (and I do mean only) thing changed by this tool is that one setting value for the battle size, and only to modify it beyond what it can normally be set to. If you change the setting back down to within the normal limits then that undoes the one single thing which was modified.
 
Does this work on other mods?  I am trying to play Clash of Kings and Prophecy of Pendor with larger battles and am just wondering if I have to download this here?

Yes, though whether the mod's battle scenes work well with larger battle sizes depends on the mod.
 
I'm receiving this error: "Could not allocate thread local data" on windows 7 64 bit. Version 1.153.

I also have been looking for rgl_ config in 'c:\...\roaming\Mount and blade warband' but there's no such file there.

Thinking that it could be due to not been playing the native game I did, I got into the map and then left; still the same error. Is there by any chance a way to do it manually under these premises? :sad:
